Continue with your current prepaid and if you can, get the unlimited data package that is not tied to the iPhone plans. That way, even when your data usage went overboard, you won't get slapped with thousand-RM bill. Of course, this is if your budget allows.

but back home, most of the prepaid providers come with the conventional SIM card and rarely 3G equipped. hence, make sure you patronise a local provider store near you and upgrade the card.

iPhones run most satisfactorily under the 3G network.
