Wikipedia are you guys freaking serious? Even I can edit that entry man doh.gif . I got my phone on the 4th day of launching, no issues whatsoever, I feel like a advertisement already how many times do I have to say check your sets thoroughly before leaving the store, iPhone sells by the millions don't tell me 80% of the phones so far has this issue, then apple can close shop already, always remember the internet does not represent the majority it only represent those who have access and time to air their discontent and how is this even part of the maxis thread? It should be under ios4 and iPhone 4 thread.

bro nimrod, you can't expect all those customers to test everything on the spot when there's flooded with ppl in MC...especially those who bought their phone in KLCC roadshow 150 units per day......
People will staring at you and start wondering why you're taking so long to buy a phone and also those customer services advised us bring back our phone to test first.
When you notice some problem, only bring back to them that day itself or the next day.

By the way,I got my 1 to 1 exchange today and no more blue tint spotted. thumbup.gif

hi seyuripa, you can always find a spot at the maxis centre to inspect your device, it doesnt take long, dont tell me you buy a car and bring it back before inspecting it for any problems. People here tend to use foul and descriptive words to label Maxis, Apple and the iPhone colorfully, when they never did their part to inspect it first, and complain when the device has issues, dont care about those behind, save yourself a trip back to the maxis center and also you dont have to rant here of all places. Do you guys realize that if the phone had scratches or anything cosmetic you can't come back for a replacement? they would blame it on you, how do you prove that it wasnt you who scratched it in the first place? cosmetic defect can only be claimed at the spot, so please do us here a favor and spare us your rants and spend some time to check the device on the spot.

hi nimrod,if only everyone did the way you're suggesting right now, there shouldn't be any complains on the death grip issue, yellow pixel or blue tint camera problem,etc........ from the start sad.gif 1 to 1 exchange on the spot(steve jobs never need to give free bumper to those users)
I do fully agree that we have to inspect our phones parts one by one but as for me myself,I would have forgotten to check some parts of the phone like this time but luck is on my side doh.gif
As for buying a car as a example, its far more complicated to test/inspect a car with such a short time.......no point comparing it with Iphone.Even though inspect a new car,we can only inspect those on the surface/superficial of the car itself not deep inside

Buying an Iphone 4 can be gambling nowadays, either you get a perfectly functioning Iphone or not.....either way

I'm not sure how severe is the yellowish screen since I don't have that problem myself, however encountered once the blue tint problem.....

I would said the blue tint problem can be very obvious if taken photos of some low fluorescene light condition with white background, what I would recommend is that either you take back for 1 to 1 exchange maxis, like what I did and the problem solved or just accept it as what it is,and you can actually reduce the problem by setting the flash on for those condition above, and make sure you on your HDR setting on.

So good luck with all of you.

I went through all the display sets in Apple store Glasgow and all cameras  were with the blue/greenish splotch. I did 6 times of replacement and again all were with this problem. I checked with all my friends' and they are all the same. So it doesnt just affect Maxis and Malaysian sets. As for Seyuripa, unless u take a photo with a white background and post it, I will just take it as you have not tested your camera enough to see the problem.

As what I and some of the forumers had said before, just because all the Iphone4 you tested before got blue tint problem doesn't means that you can Ass"u"me every single Iphone in the market has this problem...it can only proved that you have bad luck at that time thats all

I wouldn't mind if you take it my phone as a problem set but do mind you that I had tested my phone previously with blue tint problem,so I do know what is blue tint on the camera sweat.gif Yes again, blue tint and yellowish spot doesn't only have in Malaysian sets, even some of the overseas set has it if you hardworking enough to search through some of the Iphone forums.
