i tot of owning a iphone 3G 8GB in aust the price is $800
is it worth getting??

yup its lock, if need unlock need at least 120bucks
or need buy some credit value of 120bucks to unlock
what you guys think
but i dont quite get the unlock thing, what is it about, iphone so much steps to do

becoz i plan to buy in aust then use it for 3 months, then fly home trade with my gf
she will use the iphone i will use back my E66 , is it possible to swap sim cards and work in msia??
like ordinary hp?

about the sim card switching is it possible??
is it mean after i unlock , i can put in what sim card i want, and use in other countries also no problem??

i dont want to get in a contract im going be here less than 8 months
so not worth getting a contact deal with them ,prefer pay alittle more and be safe
anyone who is in Aust and buy iphone without contract can give me some help here ?
