Hello ,

I'll be going to singapore next month on first week of october and i'm still confuse whether i should get/buy iphone 4 in singapore a not . If its yes , i need to let my friend know by tomorrow morning cuz my friend is already in singapore .

SGD 888 for an iphone 4 in singapore without contract is nice. Rumors say iphone 4 might release end of the week of september . Do you think maxis will sells iphone 4 without contract ( price i guess still more expensive than singapore iphone 4 ( no idea how much the price difference would be ) ) ?

I just need an answer / suggestion
It's quite URGENT for me like NOW
PLEASE HELP ME . THANK YOU .

dunno if maxis will sell iphone 4 without contract or not

if yes, better u get it from maxis for ease on the warranty purposes

coz no point waiting 3 weeks order from SG by the time maxis launch it here locally

btw, one or two things have to take into consideration though

stock shortage & priority of buyers from maxis

r u sure there's gonna be enough iphone 4 when it launch locally?

r u sure maxis will giving priority to u? first come first serve basis? loyalty basis?

If malaysia iphone 4 here is under maxis or digi warranty , if there's problem , maxis or digi still have to send back to singapore for help rite ? which mean singapore iphone 4 and malaysia iphone 4 are still under singapore apple store rite ?
*
difference when u bought locally is u can claim warranty from ur nearest maxis or digi center

can collect the phone when it ready

dont have to go down all the way to SG

btw, the warranty aint international warranty though

bought from UK, claim from UK

bought from SG, claim from SG

anyway, its up to u decide all these factors are worthy or not

i bought mine from SG cool2.gif

couldnt careless bout maxis/digi offering, coz using celcom tongue.gif

the seller is selling locked version of iphone. with personal warranty, and not the malaysian carrier's warranty.
the baseband is 03.10.01..
is it a hassle to use the locked version? cause i watch on youtube that you have to do though not so complicated but hassling steps to get the phone working.

hmm.gif

yup, kinda hassle

better get an unlock set if the price differences aint that significant
