my iphone 4 is a maxis set , so far so good .. already a year old .. i got question .. after the warranty expired .. incase anything can i send to maxis ?

sorry for asking this question here, but i have searching around and could not find any more suitable topic to ask this question.
My iphone 3GS is updated previously by someone else to iOS 5.0.1 but now i realized that my iphone is actually an unlock set. what is the limitation of an iphone unlock set? is that means i cannot upgrade my firmware? |

Is it worth to buy iphone 4 8gb now?
I'm sick of waiting for local iphone 4s. Plus next year the complete redesign iphone 5 will come out. Surely I will change to iphone 5 later. Feel like waste of money if wanna buy expensive iphone 4s just to use until iphone 5 come out. |

i have a question. my gf is using a BB and has a BIS plan, stil got almost 1 year contract with celcom.
if she buys an iphone, cut the simcard, and sell off the BB, can she still use the data plan, or this BIS thingy will interfere? |
