Hey guys, I will be studying in the States soon and I'm planning to get an iPhone 4. I heard that international students have to pay a $500 deposit since we don't have Social Security Numbers? (This is to prevent people taking advantage of the cheap iPhones and running off to Asia)

How do I go about this one? I prefer getting an iPhone with contract. Just pay, no need to think so much.

is anyone using iphone4 foreign set that works with gevey sim card here?
*
Gevey sim works perfectly fine for all the locked set. AFAIk, many types of gevey sim. Latest version of gevey will not require you to dial 112 if not mistaken. Check out with seller before purchasing one.

iphone4 of course. retina display is a very2 significant upgrade

dont worry too much about the home button lah. if u got the problem, fix it then. dont go for a 3gs simply cuz u feel ip4 button will break. some 3gs have that issue too u know

Is it a good idea to get an iPhone 4 at the moment? Or I should wait for the next generation to be on the market?
I'm in a dilemma. If I were to buy a new phone. I'd stick with it for a long time. So what do you guys think?
