Recently my car AC seems not cold during hot day but can feel the cold air at night.
Care to give some advice. 

The car is BMW E36 year 97. Probably long time havent service... I dont know cause just bought this.
Can recommended me a workshop in KL preferably nearby wangsa maju if any and also the estimated cost? 
If dont have recommended shop near me, might go to Naidu workshop at Jalan Gasing PJ. 
Also please PM me the price for Condenser, Cooling Coil, Compressor, expansion Valve, Drier, Cabin air filter.

Been driving my optra 1.8 for 5 years now. No prob with the a/c so far. Untill hari raya day. The a/c would be cold as normal. But after a while, the coldness dropped, and became more warmer and the air flow from he vents also reduced. (Could it be an "icing" problem??)
Later, I switch off the a/c, just lets the blower runs and I can felt the coldness again (with the a/c off) for few minutes. And this keep on repeating (both long distance and short distance travels)

What could be the problem - is it icing issue/RCV valve kaput/not enough gas/piping problem/

Would a normal service (never had one yet) fixs/shows the problem??

Hi.. recently my mechanic said my aircond wind not powerful enough  but to me I dont find it any problem as during hot afternoon I full blast and even medium speed the aircond is cold and able to keep the temperature cool day n night. He advise me to service the aircond to clean the coil but he needs to remove the dashboard to service. 6years persona without servicing aircond before. I am just worried is there a need to remove dashboard to service aircond or should I touch the aircond system at the first place since all working fine and cold. Btw he is charging me 300+ for cleaning to make the blower faster..hmmm

Hi, I need some advice. I have this problem with air cond when I open my air cond, there is some noise sound with the car engine.
I have go to the mechanic and he said that it is the compressor problem.
As he open the compartment, he check other parts and said that I need to change the condensor and cooling coil too. The price:
compressor- 500
condensor - 230
cooling coil - 430

I want to know whether the price is ok and should I change the condensor and cooling coil as well?

Hi, I have myvi 2008 which currently having problem with the aircond. the aircond is not cold (or hot) when the car is idle (traffic jam or traffic light), however its cold again after the car moving.

previously i went to a workshop and they flush the aircond using a machine which took almost 1 hour. as i remember the machine is diagnosing the oil, give additional oil if its not enough and do some other testing. it was better, however the problem is still there it just take longer before it hot.

until last week when the weather was very hot, the aircond was/is getting hot instantly whenever the car stop, and its not getting cold if the car not move/run fast enough.

can someone help what should i do, or is there any recommended workshop that reliable enough somewhere in PJ.

After adding gas and then one or days later I had to go back to the workshop because the aircond power is so low, imagine when I m sitting in the car sweating even the aircond is on. so I check with the mechanic and then he use something to test, and check the pressure is 70 degree, is that normal he told me that suppose to be 20 to 30, in such cases I need to change the compressor, and he say the denso compressor will price at RM500, is that true? Need Sifu advice.

my SEG 1.6 air con is not cold. The repairman told me , its cooling coil problem, still have gas. To replaced a used one RM70 plus the workmanship. Is the charge reasonable? Or should i get a new one?

Update: after installing aircon coil, constant no cool air, and now the repairman told me its sensor problem. But the sensor works occasionally. Sometime in the morning it work then till evening , not working.

I suspect was the sensor faulty afterall , after changing the coil still nothing changes until the repairman do something to the sensor.
