Could you please share your experience with us with regards to your first interview?
To be honest, I think it went pretty well. I was asked to do a written test first, just a simple question about my achievements, future career plans and why they should hire me. I was given 30 minutes, wrote about 2 and a half page.
Then they called me for the interview. Two persons were present to interview me. One from HR and another from one of the departments. They started easy, with normal 'Tell me about yourself' questions, about my background and my interests etc.
After that they asked 'What can you contribute to SC?' so I told them about the subjects I'm good at in my degree program and my skills, personality traits.
They also asked me about the economy, how it affects SC, the organization and what it does etc. Pretty tough but I tried my best. They would use my answer to ask me a new question just to see if I know what I'm talking about. I didn't break, I just keep on answering without keeping quiet or pausing. Pretty random questions. Mostly about stocks/shares, economy etc.
After that they put me in a situation asking me what would I do if they put me in a department I hate. I just said I won't know until I didn't try. They made a joke about it, saying next time they don't want to see me at HR asking for a change of dept. And said I might be joining one of the interviewer's department. I hoped that was a good sign.
I asked them a few questions about the program and the interview ended. I asked them when will I know, they asked me back, how soon do I want to know. So I replied, as soon as possible. They said either tomorrow or next monday. Around 2-3 days. I think that was a good sign because the others were told they will know not until next week.
Before I left the building, while I was at the lobby, they gave me a call! Confirmed 2nd interview

the other candidate didn't get a call yet. I was over the moon of course!
Anyway that's how it went. I'm now trying to prepare for the 2nd interview. I heard its quite tough. If anyone has tips on 2nd interview, care to share with me? Would love to hear some
