What position are you applying for?

I sent my resume in Dec 2008 and I got the call just this Monday. But when I sent my resume/application form I haven't graduated yet, I just graduated early this month so I guess they were waiting for me to graduate first.

I have an interview next week, really nervous. Hopefully will get it. Management Exec post. Wish me luck!

Hi, does anyone know what are the prospects of working in SC as a MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE?

What is the starting basic salary?

I heard that the program duration is 2 years. What will happen to the employee after 2 years?

Does the salary will be increased in the 1st year?

Anyone knows about this? please provide me the info.

Thank you.

My friend shared his experience with me before.
the 2nd stage, its going to be a case study.
It's going to test the way u solve problem, your way of thinking, and your immediate response if you face a situation.
And yes, its really tough. Just be confident with your answer. Dont look nervous because SC as a regulator/investigator, u need someone who can pretend everything is ok eventhough it is not.
You must be good since they called you straight away. My friend waited for almost a month to get the 2nd interview.
So, wishing u good luck and success.

Yes that's what I applied for. I sent through email and by hand, through despatch because at that time I was doing my attachment at a law firm. Then they asked me to email the form again when they decided they wanted to interview me. They will ask you to sign later on when you're there for the first interview.

Hi again!

I just finished my 2nd interview few hours ago hehe. It was okay la. I got a case study on immigration problems in Europe, I proposed my own suggestions, the interviewer asked me questions. I kinda expected it to be tougher, but it was alright. I don't know if she thinks I did okay too of course! I might have bombed it without me realising!

After case study there was role-play questions, I was the MD for a company, and this company sponsored an athlete. The lady interviewer was the supervisor of the athlete, and we sort of had a conversation together on certain problems given based on the different scenarios.

Then, it was the motivational and values assessment. I didn't expect this stage because my friend who had her interview yesterday didn't have this. This is where I was given cards representing motivations and values, and there's another set of cards representing situations. According to each of this situation, I pick 6 cards from the values and motivation group and i choose which one is of least importance, up to the one I think is the most important to me depending on how i felt with the situation. Something like that.

I finished that, I asked what's the next stage. The lady said the next stage will be an online assessment they will email to me. I haven't got the email yet so I guess I have to wait until they're happy with my results, then that must be the final stage. They said by next week. So hopefully!

So did your friend get the job?

Yes. He just did.

Sure meh i go pick up with her tht offer letter

position is asst manager in one of dept and it is a public listed company
management exec at sc she oni got 2.5 k not 2.8

so its around 5k.not to mention easier to get all kind of loan haha

fyi, petronas gave 3.5k for fresh grad.. < dun worry...all oil and gas company offer more than that..eventho basic just around 3k..with offshore allw 6k and up per month is easy money

to develop urself sc is a good ground.but all know if u got better offer why not develop urself there pulak kan.
*
5k? WOW! ..that's great.
How old is she now? i heard Management executive programme at SC targets Fresh Graduate.
My friend told me, SC is a good place to develop ur career. After 4 or 5 years u at SC, u can earn at least 5 figures of salary at Public listed company.
What is people's perception towards SC?
Anyway, how did ur gf found out the culture working over there? Was it interesting? the work load?
Salary on time? Is there any COLA (Cost of living allowance) or Car Allowance? Anyone knows the benefits? Care to share?

Thank u.
