You have to buy those games from Wii Shop.

You CAN however play flash games with the Wii Opera Browser..

i tried to shop in the wii shop channel but could not get in.
is it because mine is a modded one ?
bought the modded version last week for region issues.

Idk leh. People here I know with successful download will have all the following:
1. Use unmodded US Wii
2. Have good credit card that is recognized worldwide
3. Pick Brazil or other South American country as their country. Alternatively switch country to Brazil, Buy point, switch back to old country.

I myself was successful doing that. There's a thread for further details. Search for it.

please do not mislead ppl with wrong information

buying and downloading VC games or Wiiware games has nothing to do if your console is modded or not.

myself has a modded NTSC/US Wii, and I has purchased of Wii points with my credit card, and purchased/downloaded Opera browser, Super Mario 3 and few other Wiiware games.

The only trick to purchase the wii point with your local credit card is....
using the infamous Brazilian hack, by setting your home country to Brazil, then you'll be able to purchase the Wii point.


And pls.... not all of the modded consoles owner are the supporters of piracy

so i just set my country to brazil and thats it ?

Recommended that you try changing the country to brazil first, buy the game, download it, then change back to America.
