Oops....forget to write wat happen. I break my alpha 300 LCD.

i'd rather just use Av mode, control the aperture (and ISO) and let the camera do shutter setting - still beats having a lot of "AIYAH!!!" due to human error. you can go see how many photographers at events actually use M mode.

really?? i tried it for closeup last time.. quite ok la.. but never tried for portraiture.. afraid it's gonna be too tight.. so must stay very far for the subject la

i also use AP or SP most of the time..maybe its stil early for me to touch M yet..afraid to lose some precious moment with my noobish skill... =(

I got a total different experience compare to yours

I send in my 75-300 for service because I complained that the zoom is very stiff. It took a total of 3 months to get back my lens. I called the stupid customer careline like once a week and once I really gave a good scolding. After my  15 minutes lecture, the personnel call back say that they are sending my lens back to malaysia because they have fix the lens at singapore.

A simple problem took them 3 freakin months to fix it. I am very disappointed

Ya, i heard from somewhere that sony service center not efficient, use very long time to repair. So, I'm so sad because no camera for christmas and new year. But surprisingly i receive the sms just now to imform me it's done and can collect already. 

i charged mine at the shop for like 30 minutes.. then use it already.... after went back... when shooting some monyet at taman tar... ahahha... only after that i left it charging for like 8 hours..

now still looking for 2nd batt... must....buy.....another........one....!! haihh~

Expect new DSLRs from Sony this year - and lots of’em.  I received an email tip from someone who provided accurate info on the A900 that the entire Sony Alpha DSLR lineup will be replaced in 2009.  I don’t know whether all the cameras will drop at PMA, but I expect to see several there.  I would say that the A300/A350 (Read Photography Bay’s Sony A350 Review) and A700 are ripe for replacement at PMA.  Additionally, don’t count out CES as a possible news outlet for Sony Alpha DSLRs.  The A200 was announced at CES 2008, which was prior to the A300/A350 announcement at PMA.
