ya ka.. later la i go survey that lens.. maybe go molet molest first brows.gif

i'm using cap ayam visico filter.. maybe that's why.. last time just bought it for protection..
now that i'm taking photography a bit more serious, maybe should spend on better filter..
err.. what is ghosting ya?? see my pics below, i think it's flare:

i use M at events as well  blush.gif
i cant trust DSLRs when there are too many lights around, metering might be good in one section, while the next, its crappy, so what i normally do is whack it in M, at ISO800 and shoot. of course, shooting with the a200 is one thing, but shooting with a D200 is another thing XD
*
wahlau...
i never used M for event
had a nightmare
during wedding im using M
end up
all pic...underexposed or over exposed

lucky i had colleague with me...

smile.gif i didn't say tech event.

for me it's not whether USED TO IT. for me, it's whatever the fastest.

i love Av mode simply because my shots are mostly based on aperture so I'll let the came decide the shutter.
you missed the exposure indicator?

anyway bday.gif
ahh sunlight. it also depends on direction of the sun. in some cases. turning different area would mean different exposure.

last time i n00b. always use M mode, a lot of things snap la but kinda slow.

then i met some expert photographer from SG - teach me about modes. smile.gif nowadays I just stick to modes for the convenience. rarely touch M already.
*
no time bro to watch exposure meter..
coz im afraid i missed the great moment...
tongue.gif

neway i learn my mistake
all my colleague told me...
used program mode...
unless paid model shot

ryzan76, nice smoking man!

dark lenanza: The Remote Commander clip is a little latch-like thing that fits on your neck strap. It's used when you have a shutter cable release - unlatch the clip and put the cable inside the 'drain'. I would take a picture if I had one LOL.

I'm pretty sure it comes with even the A200 as I've helped friends put camera straps on. The Remote Control only comes with the A700/A900. biggrin.gif

This is the eyepiece cover (cropped from my point-and-shoot, obviously the camera was in the picture):

I don't have any more pictures of it as I usually tuck the strap away when taking a picture of my Alpha.

The A900 is the only Alpha which does not come with an eyepiece cover as it has a built-in eyepiece shutter (to prevent light from entering from the viewfinder during long exposures.) The eyepiece cover also holds the flash hotshoe cover that comes with the A100/A700/A900.

vcvx: Velcro is a bit iffy and slow. I prefer my method, gel held in place by cardboard, and anchored by the diffuser panel:

dingenius3 : The flash mount cover comes with the A100, A700 and A900.

The A200/A300/A350 don't have it. The price for these models already rock bottom so Sony decided to skimp on the covers lor... Hehehehe.

You can buy them from Sony Style but hard to get them in stock ler...

dark lenanza: Got lah, they are loose pieces deep inside the box. You have to put them on the strap yourself. I know because whenever I help friends buy an A200 I help them install the strap also.

shootkk: Nice layouts! Not overdone.

dingenius: Actually you don't need the cover. It prevents oxidization but you can scrape it off with your fingernails, and anyway I never used the cover once I got the flash because it's just too tedious.

About straps and covers and stuff, which comes with which:

Flash hotshoe cover (Sony FASHC1AM) - A100, A700, A900
Remote Commander clip - A100, A200, A300, A350, A700, A900
Eyepiece cover / flash hotshoe cover holder
- A100, A200, A300, A350, A700
Cheap Sony neckstrap (SONY letters can fall off) - A200, A300, A350
Good Sony neckstrap - A100, A700, A900
Wireless Infrared Remote Control - A700, A900

Could a moderator put this on the front page? Thanks!
