pardon me if the question has been asked before...

how to actually let hold the aperture blade wide open like what soulfly did?

blush.gif

I had done this a long time ago when I reversed my 50mm f1.7 and had to control the aperture to a certain degree.... just fold up a piece of paper and slot it into the space where the lever which activates the aperture blades. Simple mechanical procedure. No harm done to the lens, unless you used excessive force or used a piece of metal to jam the lever.... sweat.gif

craziqbal: I don't know about the 90mm F2.8 non-DI.

SpOOkY: It should say DT, DC or Di-II in the full name of the lens to mean that it's APS-C only.

vcvx: Sigma DG means it is coated for digital but is full-frame. DC means APS-C.

I have a T-mount to M42 adapter, and an M42 to A-mount adapter, but both are being used on my Peleng 8mm F3.5 fisheye (which is technically, natively a T-mount lens.)

Ksano: The rear element of the baby beercan may not be big enough and cause a lot of vignetting even at the 210mm end of the beercan, so it's better to reverse a 50mm in front.

soulfly: SWEEEEEEEEEET!

Thank goodness it goes for RM8xxx which is way out of my lead. If it's half of that price, I'll give my A200 to my brother and get A900!

Guys, I was THERE when Albert bought the CZ 135mm F1.8 and I was THERE when the shots were made.

No secrets, just took KJ's pics when he was standing in front of the Christmas tree which had those tiny little Christmas lights on it. Those big ring bokeh is rendered from those lights! That's the power of the 135mm on the A900. Damn nice, can? <-- imitating smashPop

kysham : I know what you mean for the harsh shadows. Some of the pics was taken around noon and my F42 was already firing full blast direct to lift them shadows!! Some were intentional. Hehe..
