any tips to take full bright moon? seems to need a very dark environment elses the camera would be fooled by the environment lighting

I would suggest a low-level shot of the flower that includes the sky (clouds). Compose nicely and it should do the trick. Maybe in portrait orientation. You know something like the flower looking up to the sky and say 'damn it's gonna rain?'. LOL

I tend to use f8.0 last time, when I look back it seems it's not as sharp than lower aperture value set.. what do is the factor you determine your aperture setting other than D.O.F
