on the way to kuala terengganu jetty...we stop by at rantau abang(this is the first time shooting with LX3 and got some time to practice manual shooting)
not much to edit juz move the saturation slider up a bit(anyone know how to get the color without using photoshop) 11. ![]() my cat(dynamic b/w) 12. ![]() anything wrong with the settings i used? comment please....i'm ur humble students |

For picture 11(scenery), you notice that the rocks are sharp but the scenery at the back are not that sharp right?Was that your intention or you wanted everything to remain equally sharp?
The reason why the rocks look sharp but the trees and beach isn't equally ah sharp is you're using a low aperture value(F4.0),in which you should have used a higher value like F7.0 or F8.0 because you want everything to remain sharp(high DOF) while a low aperture value will result in shallow DOF(like bokeh and potrait photos) Despite all of that, your pictures looks great.Keep it up Edit: Picture 11 you can see your shutter speed is 1/1000 sec... lol...that is my first time shooting from my brand new lx3...
i'm sorta confused becoz this is my first tyme shooting manual... so i juz shoot it with my minimal photography knowledge... but it turn out nice.....juz the color need to photoshop a bit.... |

this is my first try to capture water droplet....as u can see it's not that sharp...because that is my first time shooting manual with lx3
