i got affected just now. sweat.gif norton just lettin it comin....

i have to use Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to delete it (scan & reboot) unsure.gif

hi,
why curse your antivirus. all AVs will experience a time when they do not detect something. You can help by sending the suspicious sample file to Symantec and help them to help others and yourself in case of reinfection.

Also what about the many other times when Norton actually pop up and warn you about the virus it caught.

there is no 100% effective AV software out there...
My advice is.. do not simply open unknown attachment or go to malicious website..

Please download RSIT by random/random and save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT
  • Before you click "Continue", make sure you change the List files/folders created or modified in the last 3 months
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt and info.txt in your next reply.
