1. i want to put extra fan on my case, any guide for me to learn how to do the wiring?? i think im familiar to the blowhole but im not so good in the wiring...

2. where can i buy led, ccfl?? what's the price? and im facing the wiring problem also..

3. i decided to put an arcylic on my case, can i get from hardware shop?? what's the price?

4. if i want to locate my cpu horizontally, is it ok if i remain the psu at the original position (vertically)??

doh.gif seems like not much people are willing to lead me leh....

since that this thread cant get much attention from sifu2 here, then i'll start to do my modification slowly...

actually now im using this PowerLogic low-end casing, after surving the all day long here yesterday, i decided to mod my case..

case that im using, kinda normal case..

user posted image

at the beginning, im still wondering should i do this stuff on my new case...due to im still a newbie, afraid that later i'll spoil the case and i will have no case to use shakehead.gif suddenly something comes through my mind, ohhya i got a old, faulty, unused CPU in my storeroom, i was excited drool.gif drool.gif !!

rush to storeroom and carry out the cpu, next thing i did is 'decompose' the cpu rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

what it looks like..it's damn old cpu, almost 5-6 years ago...

i grinded the side panel and drilled 4holes,

If u need help on ur LED stuffs, let me know, might b able to help u on the wiring and stuffs. Overall, u've a good start, at least u've sketch out wat ur aim is. Next is to identify the area that u need to resolve the issues.

Good luck bro. icon_rolleyes.gif

b4 modding, get a pair of glove since ur hand got allergic..

if u need anyhelp, i could help ya out anyway, im a average modder here. smile.gif
carbon fibre sticker u can buy at nearest car accessories shop around. while LED u can buy at electric store with along the transistor + wire.
PM nisclasteoh or go buy at advertisement(graphic) shop for the Acrylic.

price based on the quality / width of the acrylic u like to purchase. there's no absolute price in this stuff.

if u want to change to horizontal, it wouldnt be a problem, as long the fan keep them cool..

wiring is simple de.. no need to stress ur head. biggrin.gif

if want to add leds, then no worries, few of us here know how to DO IT. laugh.gif

for blowholes, hot air will go up, so, better make blowholes on the rear stead the upper one. smile.gif make it all 120mm fan xD

fyi, im not pro, still average, and lots of homework to be done for diy matter. tongue.gif

if me, i go for input on front and output on rear, i wont make the upper blowholes. left it untouch. smile.gif

even if there an upper blowholes, i would make it output instead of input, so it will suck out instead suck in. smile.gif

is that stable enough if i screw my top panel (arcylic) at the area the i bracket in the 2nd picture??

and the 2nd picture also, the front panel, i think i will use the original frame and clear off the middle section, then just screw my arcylic on it, if not i canot get another idea how to locate my front panel (arcylic)....

user posted image

and this is my psu, quite big, if i rotate it to horizontal, im afraid that the heat will concentrate around my processor there, and will have bad effect on my processor....

well i see u just put back the hdd place. sweat.gif
yeah, acrylic can withstand in the 2nd pic, i suggest u cut the front blowhole, make it fit 120mm fan instead 80mm fan. smile.gif

and i guess, u need to make extra blowhole since the rear blowhole, wont have juice enough to suck out hot air. smile.gif

since ur rear blowhole unable to suck out hot air, change it to suck in cold air, n later on the upper panel (where u change to acrylic) make 1 or 2 blowholes for suck hot air. smile.gif get it?

Ok now, after i've stopped my job, and have a week before college open day, i will finish my modding inside this week if everything is going fine...

one question here, about my fans..

user posted image

as you can see, my draft, 2x80mm exhaust fans at the back, and 1x120mm intake fan at the front, im just curious, the rear fans is near to my psu's fan and cpu's fan, and both of them are sucking air also, plus my rear fans, 4 fans are sucking air!! and is that good...??

and im gonna move my dvd-rom to the left hand side, the fan will be located at the middle, any suggestion and comments..

btw, now im looking for acrylic, before i can start my work, i need everything in my hand to make the measurement...!!
