must i really buy a hard drive to play games? cuz all i wan is to play games only...thats all...izit neccesory to buy a hard drive?if i buy a hard drive...is there any smaller size besides 60gb?

well, if you could wait a little bit longer, you can wait for the new SKU xbox 360 which have a build in Memory.

if you don't want too, you can find people here who sell either a 512MB memory card. or the smallest hard drive which is 20GB...

Theres also a 20gb HDD but dunno if its still available in stores. U can check with all the reputable game stores and see if they have or alternatively do a search in the pasar malam section, im sure theres plenty of 2nd hand drives for sale there.

I'd say with the NXE out and install capabilities, why not invest on a HDD and save ur dvd drive from overworking. Just my 2 cents.

and you don't need a HDD to play games. u just need it to save your game and maybe download free stuffs like demos and shit.

you are not obliged to install a game into HDD anyway.

depends. like i said, if you want to install games, download demos and free DLCs, you definately need a HDD.

if not, then 256 meg should be ok.
one game save is about 1-3mb only.

but you are skipping the NXE since you can't install it on your 360 then. which is to me, a huge loss.

You can't skip NXE if you're going to play online, the moment you sign on you'll be asked to download it. So even with arcade you're gonna need at least a 512MB memory card.

i have the arcade and the nxe update itself with the avatars, takes around 128mb on my memory unit which leaves even less space. so defiinitely buy a hard drive!

Assuming you're not going the modded route, the cost of the hard drive is nothing compared to the financial loss you'll incur from buying games
