I would like to know whether are those buy from PDA Arena are having the Mobisure extended warranty?

Those bought from PDA Expert and others got the SIS membership and extended warranty? From the SIS website, they did mentioned that during PC fair, we only have to pay RM68 for the SIS membership..

you can join their member whenever there is promotion or some event there.... joining their member is free i think, so you can get 1+1 year extended warranty for the product you purchase from SIS..

Lineage, it has been mentioned many times that u could get the Touch HD from known resellers/shops, who also get their stock from SiS.. u could get a better price from them.. why do u wanna buy straight from SiS anyway? unless u are planning to buy like 20 units, then it's a different story.. plz read through this thread.. cheers..

the extended warranty of course.........

most PDAs are using touch sensor and not pressure sensor.. i've owned an iPhone before and the two sensors have a completely different behaviour, example, when typing on an iPhone, it only registers the key after u lift ur finger off the screen, on other (most) PDAs, the key registers at the very moment u tap the screen..

the HD however, i'm not sure, as the typing is similar to the iPhone.. i juz realized that when u slide ur finger to the left on the virtual keyboard, it deletes a character.. slide it to the right and it a space.. hmm..

Those who bought Extended warranty with Mobisure/AIG are so far from PDA Arena - same as mine. Checked with SIS - PDA Arena is the authorised distributor even though they are not listed in the HTC's shop list.

Question the PDA Arena guys on SIS Previledge Card and 1+1 warranty - they say "Very sorry they do not offer this, maybe they dont earn much from it. Therefore they are selling the Mobisure/AIG - could be earning more from it. I did pay a damn RM99 for it.

How the claim works? - Anything just bring back to PDA Arena - the guys said.

As for SIS Extended warranty, the previledge card RM68 does NOT include the SIS extended warranty if you purchase teh priveledge card now as confirmed by an SIS staff.

My 2cents

Buy from PDA Expert - you get slightly better deal and SIS extended warranty

Buy from PDA Arena - they gift you many gifts and install many softwares for you, however more expensive and no SIS extended warranty.

My GARMIN and MAPKING were working perfectly fine untill I did some house cleaning on my storage card to tidy up files. After I cut and paste (not delete) some of the files....NOW both my GARMIN and MAPKING are not working! Tried to run - failed. It says "Unable to locate certain files"

Can bros here Please advise what do I need to do to have them working again other than going back to the shop to reinstall?

I tried to cut and paste the files back to the original place but still fail.

On 1st Jan 2009, I went to LY and stroll around to update myself with the latest gadget. So I was querying myself, Can HD play movie with TV OUT cable just like touch Pro?

So i was walking with my friend who owns a TP and we made comparison, And after asking several PDA shops there including HTC's, it is confirmed that HD cannot use TV OUT.

So I was sad to think that my HD device in no better than my friend's TP.

But I have a little hope that it can play movies soon thru TV OUT cable. It will be so easy to carry movies around in HD and stop carrying my External Multimedia Hard Disk whenever I travel to see movies with my family.

my batt can last me 3 days...just normal usage....sms and receive call + make call while + i will on my bluetooth and bt headset ( itech D clip) for 12 hour per-day...

There are all sensors. yes, HD's using resistive touchscreen compared to iphone's capacitive touchscreen. Many have debated on these touchscreen technologies, although HD's touchscreen is no match with iPhone's, it's still the best of all HTC touchscreen phones/PDAs. HTC has done tremendous improvements on the finger friendly experiences on HD's resistive touchscreen so you'll be less depending on stylus.

I tried to look for software/registry tweak that's able to enhance/increase the sensitivity of the touchscreen, but still haven't found any.
