I can't accept MapKing @ my HD; The graphic is looks horrible!

I don't believe on WM6.5 upgrade on my current HD bcos HD is mainly designs based on WM6.1. By running WM6.5, definitely will affect it's performance.

Example. My previous TyTn II also qualified for WM6.1 upgrade; Unfortunately the performance is slower after upgraded from WM6 to WM6.1

I rather save some money, then buy the new machine which come with WM6.5.

He is famous in XDA, his got tonnes of hardcore fans who following him, they only choose the device he bot bcos his ROM.

Trust me, you will never go back to official ROM when u try his ROM! He make ur device F-L-Y~

Are you using 1.14.OliNex HSPL and then flash in Dutty ROM?
Yes, I'm using HardSPL. No worry, anytime can roll back to original SPL.

HTC HD got TV receiver?
Is this important? I don't think my eyes wanna watch any show @ 3.8" LCD.
Besides, I won't scarify my battery standby hours to watch Malaysia TV channels, how to go back to 420p show?

(I owned 700+ HDrip, I rather enjoy on my big screen)

can u give step by step instruction on how to install Dutty's ROM. i.e install spl, then bla bla.
Please follow the XDA guide, they already have very details (Or I should say too details) explanation.
Just do it~ But as evilpuppy mentioned, please understand more before u decided to flash especially u r totally new to PDA.

here's something for everyone......
this is not even available in XDA yet ! made exclusively only for LYN !

In landscape mode : some missing screen on the right side  sad.gif due to the screen size...BUT could be working perfectly in HD !
Thanks for your kind sharing.

Anyhow it's already available @ Dutty's ROM v1.80 @ XDA which released on 18-Feb.
Besides, the new calculator @ Dutty's v1.80 is 100% working fine and no missing screen on the right side!

Is okay; But I would suggest don't increase the fonts' size on ur thread, this is bit annoy when u claimed it wasn't @ XDA before.

Aiyah, try to HSPL but encounter error 202 connection.
Did u check...

Preparations:
0) this package is for Blackstone devices. for BLAC100 so far (SSPL loader checks this)
1) make sure you have .NET framework installed on your PC! if not, get it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en
2) if you have vista, WMDC update is recommended: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...ce-center.mspx

Hi thteong/kylinlee

I found the solution in XDA forum. Follow the below for those who encounter error 202

Start->Settings->Connections->USB to PC
Tick "Enable faster data synchronisation"
Note: Funny lar, last time I cannot active sync from my PC to HTC HD and I untick the "Enable faster data synchronisation", then only it able to connect, now it need to tick for me to connect from PC to HTC HD.

Hi kylinlee,

Now I'm ready to flash Dutty ROM V1.8.

Question:

1) Which is riskier to brick the PDA, HSPL or flash ROM ?
2) After I flash new rom, do I need to do hard reset or soft reset will do?
3) Is Dutty Rom v1.8 come with new Radio version or I need to install new Radio version?
4) After installing new Radio version, do I need to do hard reset?
1) Both also can "brick" ur PDA/Phone; But the higher chance to brick ur PDA is ROM FLASHING bcos u only require to did HardSPL once whereby you may flash to other ROM many times smile.gif

2) 100% require to do HARD RESET after ur 1st flash.

3) Dutty's ROM does not include any RADIO; U can flash to any RADIO which u can find @ XDA;
Now I'm using latest 1.10, noticed that the GPS signal receiving is improving.

4) Not require. But now u r doing 1st time flash on ur HardSD, y not do this, flash HardSPL -> RADIO -> ROM then hard reset.

Yo~ Flashing is virus, u'll always try to find the best cooked rom and will never look back to official ROM!

Few tips on BACKUP before u perform FLASHing:-

a) Sync ur PIM completely to desktop

b) Use PIMBackup (Freeware) to backup set of PIM into ur memory card
(PIMBackup is the most reliable PIM backup/restore tool @ Windows Mobile)

c) If you backup ur PIM by SpriteBackup or SPB Backup or RESCO Backup, please DO NOT restore the system data after you are flashing to different ROM; Always recommend to do "fresh installation" one by one after flash to new ROM.

d) If anything goes wrong, don't knock me, go to ask Mr. Google thumbup.gif

When I download from the XDA, it is in .rar and when I unzip, it contain only RRU_signed.nbh.
Yeah, I check on the step by step it say, "BLACIMG.NBH".

evilpuppy, when can I find BLACIMG.NBH?
If not mistaken, jsut rename it before copy paste 2ur memory card.

Congratulation! Another new comer rclxms.gif
Try Davideuck, he is another good chef, I still struggle in between Dutty's v1.80 and Davideuck v5;

[I tested both, my personal opinion is Dutty v1.80 content new interface from Touch Pro II/Diamond II but not stable and I experience 'hang' twice on today (I already solved the issue)!
But Davideuck v5 is damn... damn... fast, trust me his ROM will blow u away! Again, please respect and donate to them if u likes their works]

Added on February 20, 2009, 8:53 pmForgot to mention that Davideuck v5 MSVC is good for mobile users likes me who always travelling... the phone will pronounce the incoming caller name or phone number while u pair with bluetooth handsfree!

Some of the previous TF3D skinning/hack cannot work with the new landscape-able TF3D included in this latest ROM.
Because old app/theme does not have landscape skin.

i scare after long time sms,my phone's vibrate will say bye bye to me in a early time......
That's feature known as touch response; Don't you feel better as you can get the screen response while typing?
I enable touch response all the time and I don't think the vibration will cost any damage to ur device.
