Anyone knows wat is a good SMS manager, something similar to the one they have for Nokia, where u can type, replied and forward ur sms to group using ur pc or lap top?
*
I use POWERSMS version 1.3 installed by PDA Xpert.. It is a powerful tool to organize sms and access some cool functions.

What it has:

1) Note to self - Quickly send yourself an sms in a specified time.
2) Group Message - Send an sms to a group
3)Auto reply - Return miss calss with SMS
4) Schedule SMS - Automatically send an sms later in a specified time
5) Cool stats - Interesting usage info on your phone usage
6)Backup & restore - Archive and export your messages.

hurm.. i am also wondering why my credit is depleting so sudden.. Is it because of the auto connect to internet.. these are my settings:

In Start/Settings/ Connections:

1) in advance network:
-HSDPA - Disable
-SMS service - SMS over :GSM only

2) in Comm manager
-Data connection - off

3)in connections
-advance/select networks - all set to my work network

I dun think there's anything wrong with this settings. However, I noticed that in the HD Tweak Program, under root number 6, there are settings for DATA(GPRS/EGDE/HSDPA)

As I use digi, i now set as below:

6.1 Disconnect after : 10 seconds
6.2 Always on Digi MMS :Disable
6.3 Always on Digi GPRS : Disable
6.4 Always on Digi Internet : Disable
6.5 Enable Digi MMS : Enable (sumtimes I use it)
6.6 Enable Digi GPRS : Disable
Enable Digi Internet : Disable

I am giving this setting a try and monitor my credit balance. Hope that it works.

NOTE : Whenever i have to use internet, thru telco provider, I have to change these settings again.. Which is not frequently use.

Guys.. try going to the Today page. And above the time, there is a horizontal lined bar that has your telco provider stated. Mine is Digi.

Question...My bar is flickering. not that obvious though but its flickering.. Is it my eyes.. or is it HD? hehe. stupid questions though but hopefully its not a glitch..

Here's a thing.

On 1st Jan 2009, I went to LY and stroll around to update myself with the latest gadget. So I was querying myself, Can HD play movie with TV OUT cable just like touch Pro?

So i was walking with my friend who owns a TP and we made comparison, And after asking several PDA shops there including HTC's, it is confirmed that HD cannot use TV OUT.

So I was sad to think that my HD device in no better than my friend's TP.

But I have a little hope that it can play movies soon thru TV OUT cable. It will be so easy to carry movies around in HD and stop carrying my External Multimedia Hard Disk whenever I travel to see movies with my family.

agreed with u, same theory like no one wan to watch movie thru pda/handphone at home (becoz got 42"lcd tv  brows.gif ) but how about outside when u r boring..

no choice lo, jus a temp entertainment device.. smile.gif
*
Still am waiting for tv out cable for HD.. Watching movies on the go is superb on HD.. however, if I can travel with movies inside my HD and a TV out cable, i can watch movies on TV in any of the hotels I travel or anyplace that have tv. I travel a lot. hopefully TV out cable for HD will be available soon.

the cable is the same one as for the Touch Pro right?
*
Yup. cable is via usb. Touch pro is able to play tv out. I saw the cable in LY selling for RM100+ for original HTC cable. The only problem with HD is that it does not have the software setting to play TVout like touch pro has. If in touch pro, the setting is in Setting/TVout (if I am not mistaken)

I tried google it on the internet but failed to find anything on HD with tv out. Hopefully there will be soon. hmm.gif

Only TP i think for now. I do not know about diamond. I asked around and they said HD cannot play tv out for now. I am going to send an email to HTC customer feedback regarding this and see what they can respond.

cooliris is a internet browser for iphone?
*
Actually cool iris is not an internet browser. It's a transformation tool that allow you to stroll around pictures and videos easily and elegantly. Try downloading it and use it on your firefox. You will be stunned by the superb gliding view.

And now, after you test it, imagine it on iphone and HD.. this is what I was talking about. The elegance of viewing multiple pictures and videos especially like youtube and all...
