@snapshots, how long have u used the device? as in from stop charging to 50% battery life, how long? fiddling with setting can take a lot of power depend what settings u're doing

has anyone installed advance config tool and adding the 3G option (toggle GSM & automode) in communication manager tab in tf3d? it used to work fine in my prev TP, but it wont change after click on/off button using my HD now.

i like to disable 3G at home and use wifi instead coz 3G signal was very weak indoor and keep roaming to GPRS.

has any HD user can tell me how is the Stock Market Function ...?
have anyone try use it before?
how is the function? well or bad?
can we get the real time stock update infor for malaysia market?
ezit we need to subscript anything before we get this service?

After playing with my HTC HD, I have few question hope all the sifus can help me.

1) The Touchflo main screen only have call history and calender. I try to
add new task but it dont show and when I go back to the 'Setting -> Today -> Item, found that it uncheck back what I check. Is it a bug?

2) I configure Outlook and Hot mail. Why only it show Outlook and not Hotmail account?

3) Sometime the HD Tweak font change to Italic. And we I reboot the PDA, it come back to normal font. Anyone have the same problem?

4) Is there any way to add new task in the Tab bar below?

Thanks for the reply. I've checked the Power Mode, and it was already set to "Best Performance". I tried setting it to different levels, and found that there were NO differences in the signal strength. Could it be a hardware issue?

FYI, in BOTH my home & office, I get Excellent signal on my laptop, but less than 50% signal on my HD.

Got some problem with my Touch HD Initially when a text comes, the default settings play a tone.
Now that I go into settings --> sound --> menu --> advanced --> notifications --> and go to the event
Messaging : New text message and customize it to play sound, vibrate and display message on screen

Under the sounds tab, the events sound is also enabled

Now after doing that, when a text comes, nothing happens other than the the light flashing if i check the box.
So there's no way for me to know by sound or vibration if a new sms comes now =(

Is it a malfunction with my phone or a bug?

Any of you having the same problem?

unless u un-check ur touch flo 3d (disable it) then u can c ur calender function, call history, ...

haha good news good news!!!!....... for me.. lastly jus got my hd dis evening @ 3250 wif bluetooth n i top up 39 to extend a year warranty so dats mean 3289 n bcoz of delay he gv me car charger n holder as free gifts, cheers... hav been playing till now until i feel da heat. hehe.. but i wonder y i use wifi suddenly will change to edge wan? ned help.. thanx..

regarding ur wifi prob, what is the signal rate ur getting?

wat u mean izit if wifi signal strength low it will automatically change to edge or 3g?

yes, correct. if you tend to surf using wifi then you better use HD tweaktools to swith of your data connections off to prevent getting huge bills later.

Mute Ringtone if phone turned face down while ringing,

go to HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCSensor\GSensor

find PhonecallMute

change from '0' to '1'..

actually that feature is a nuisance lol. accidentally hanging up. U can change background by scrolling all the way in TF3D to settings, and change Wallpaper.

Try using Wallpaper4all to change background for all tabs. not tested with WVGA screens, but it should work, since its also TF3D and registry tweaks.

lol, i dun think its pure registry settings. Background4all doesnt work with Analog CLocks do note

damn.. my TD got snatch by bike snatch thief this evening... was in my car with my windows wind down, cos air con spoilt... on the way to fix actually.. then the damn bike just stop beside me when i stopped for traffic light, snatch my TD from the car holder then sped off... i was like wtf???!!!!

lesson: don't ever wind down your car window...

but, u didn't see him/her hand going into ur car? that's why i never wind down my window all the way down, always halfway cos other than avoiding snatch thefts, can also avoid by getting hit by road debris...
