the fastest rom so far i've used is dutty 2.6 extreme.. nice facebook integration with contacts.thats wm6.1, for wm6.5 .. so far davideuck kinda cool .. and the new topaz magic 8 ball app is kinda nice app to play..

I'm using Davidueck V5-HP now (WM6.1 only), with latest Topaz dialer, which unfortunately does not seem to support Landscape mode. Overall the ROM is very stable. But it's still not yet my favorite ROM...

everyone should try Miri WM 6.5 21500 :: V 7.2
there are 3 version: Xtralight, Standard and Premium...im using Xtralight and am liking it, fast & stable, without manila (cool). i think the trend is moving towards wm6.5 for cook rom...lol anyway it's up to u which one u choose, i have tried wm6.1 cook roms (dutty, davideuck, L26, kwbr) for a long time. wm6.5 was very laggy when I tried it at v5.1 (miri) but now it's extremely fast at v7.2(miri), yeah I know it's because the M$ build that makes it faster so u can try davideuck's wm6.5 as it's using the same build in its latest release. cheers and have a different feel of ur HD with wm6.5:D |

i tried miri v7.1 last time..no video call option.. havent tried the latest v7.2 yet.. right now.. after flashing few roms.. i revert back to dutty's 2.6 extreme.. love the facebook integration.. and one of the fastest wm6.1 rom..

hey guys,
seriously need some help here... anyone bought HD from pc fair pda expert? i would like to know which stock spl version I should restore if I already on OliNex 1.14 HardSPL now? I'm asking this because now there is a new 1.56 rom coming out and some cook roms are using it as base rom now and I get to know OliNex 1.14 HardSPL no longer support this new base rom and it will trigger greenscreen problem upon bootup (which im facing now with miri v7.2 rom) they advise to downgrade to stock rom, radio and spl, then flash to 1.56 rom and u will get 1.54 spl.....and finally use USPL 2.5 to flash to cook rom like dutty 2.7 (base 1.56 rom) etc. there are 3: Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip Restore_Stock_SPL_113.zip Restore_Stock_SPL_115.zip may i know which one above should i use if I bought my HD from pc fair in dec 2008, pda expert? Thanks in advance for your help!! spaceman, the original SPL is 1.14. You should use Restore_Stock_SPL_114_2.zip

then it shouldn't be a problem for spaceman to continue using OliNex 1.14 HardSPL.
Unless he plans to flash a new ROM which is not for Asia region.. right? |

when you said new ROM, do you only consider stock ROM (officially released by HTC) or do you include cooked ROM as well?
For cooked ROM that requires SPL > 1.54, HardSPL 1.14 will NOT work. So you still have to find your way to upgrade your SPL to 1.54 in order to flash cooked ROM like Dutty 2.7 / 2.8. Added on April 15, 2009, 1:53 amflashing to Dutty 2.7/2.8 ROM is more tedious than before. You have to find a stock ROM (UK / Europe) with 1.54 SPL, and flash it. And the flash will be incomplete and will prompt you some error message to scare the hell out of you. Top Right corner = RUUNBH Blac100 32M SPL-1.15.0000 MicroP-Blackstone (LED) v6 Upgrade ROM code error Please try again But don't panic. The Radio and bootloader have already been flashed before this error message come out. So just continue to flash with Dutty 2.7/2.8 via USPL. It will work eventually. received my Beyza HTC HD Cases.
high quality packing.   look at the picture this is why i like beyza cases, cases clips itself fit completely to the belt unlike 3rd picture (cheapo case which i bought) doesnt fit and leave some gap which kindda uncomfortable while you move around and look pretty ugly sort like hanging half in the air. even when cover with shirt doesnt look good.    @Clarencerx use CE-Star or ZTA4 for chinese viewer and input. |
