Yesterday I just saw one HTC Touch HD AP set that came into my showroom. When I open up everything,not even is SG unit and no sirim sticker and SIS sticker and everything and he keep claim original .. I laugh him kao kao xD

I also having the same set from him doesn't have it all sticker in the phone. But i got it from HTC Malaysia..they sponsor some HTC as part sponsor...so where do I go for warranty..

If want new manila, get Davideuck V3_HP

I am not surprised. There could be some apps I installed and running (and staying in the memory) and some files overriden that might cause the incompatibility issue.

After read thru xda forum on rilphone.dll, need to confirm from you before I flash new radio + rilphone.dll.
Is the below steps correct ?

1) Install the .cab (BS_Rilphone_1_12_25_16.cab) - since 1.13 rilphone.dll not available
2) After installed the cab, power off the HTC HD
3) Flash new radio (1.13) via MicroSD
4) Completed...

Note: When I upgraded stock radio rom to radio rom 1.12, I did not installed any rilphone.dll.

I think you have to start with your existing radio 1.12, then only get rilphone 1.12 flashed. Then only proceed to 1.13.

And 4) ... power off again, and power on.

but honestly, I think the steps won't make too many differences... if anything went wrong, just revert back to 1.12

Pro
==

1) OS very stable and the touch screen is fantastic
2) Safari browser got no match.
3) Multimedia - music and movie is the best in PDA range

Con:
===

1) Bluetooth is proprietary (not able to bluetooth song among other PDAs)
2) Songs/apps need to download from Itune (unless you know another work around)
3) Not able to play around with new rom (like HTC, thanks to XDA developer)
4) Better get use to only using finger as stylus dont work (need special stylus, cost more than RM100)

Note : WM6.5 almost launch and WM7 coming soon (hopefully xda developer able to flash rom with wm7)

Yeah, one more thing, if you get from maxis, you need to subscribe to the package 6, 12 or 24 months
and the package is not cheap. Eg. you subscribe to RM150 pkg, the data and voice is spilt around half half.
That mean you only have around RM75-80 for voice call and this also only apply for local call (IDD and roaming not included).

So anyone want to subscribe to ivalue plan, need to read carefully the term and condition.

i'm currently on 1.12 radio with stock ROM and i installed "pocketnow.com enable wlan g mode".. google it.. it significantly improve my wifi and gps..

Suddenly my HTC is getting so slow like want to find a file takes like forever even my memory 3GB and 4 GB plus is empty....soft reset and hard reset also can't.......

remove your mem card then try using card reader read it on your pc. could be mem card problem.

if you are able to read from your pc, then try format from your pc.

did u install tynnyt SD Tune Up before? you can read about it here

to format your SD card, as evilpuppy said, remove your sd card and read it on your PC to format it.
