well, one word - horrible. i really wonder, KLCC have MPO, but hire such quality musicians? i've seen better string quartet played at KLCC, but this christmas string quartet is really a horrible one.

ok maybe the musicians are not tooooo horrible, but at least i really can't hear what they're playing. i don't care if they play out of tune, but i don't even know what song they're trying to play. sound system is one thing, but i'm standing like 3 meters away, and i still can't hear what they're playing.

Without any sound system...there's no point having a string quartet. KLCC management people never learn!

there IS sound system. 4 mics pointing each player, and speakers are available. and yet, i can't even hear what they're playing. sound system is one thing, but i'm standing so close, i can't even hear what they're playing, definitely the problem with the players.

maybe the player dunno play strings, just making pose only?

You can have 100 mics pointing at them, but if the one controlling the sound system is a retard, you wont hear anything either. Just about 99% of the people behind the mixer are retards who THINK they know what the heck they are doing.

i've been there again today, it doesn't seem to have string quartet everyday. didn't snap the schedule though, but today supposed to have "strings duet" at 5pm but all i see is just conga + sax + 2 guitars. wtf? some more play jazz standards, no christmas songs (2 jazz standards in a row then i cannot tahan and left). WTF????

about 8pm i think.

dont know about is it the same quartet u all saw or what.
got two guys playing a acoustic guitar and a choir singing christmas song. (i guess)
but it pretty darn good.
