I have two camera points and going to DIY for the security/ip cameras that located in front of the house and backdoor.

What equipments are needed in order to fix the cameras so that I can view in my computer through internet and/or without internet connection? notworthy.gif

maybe u should check with Hardware section have some info there.... http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Sear...hlite=IP+camera
unless u means CCTV with DVR card for recording with cost u some bucks and required big storage PC...
otherwise can check with ViewNet located in LYP, as i remember they have quite number of sample camera units located on the roof, maybe they should have enough info for ur particular setup...

Thanks gkl83 for providing me the info.

I am looking for simple one in which I can view from computer and no recording is required. However, if the price is not much different, then recording feature would be good, may be for 1-2 days storage.
