Calling out all COOKINGMAMA fans


December 2, 2008 - Today Majesco announced it will bring Gardening Mama, the latest portable entry in the Mama franchise (of Cooking fame), to North America in spring 2009. Cooking Mama has proved to be quite the bread winner for Majesco, selling over 2.5 million units here in the West. Gardening Mama stars the familiar, accented chef as she cultivates fruits and vegetables in her backyard.

"[Mama's] first brand offshoot captures those features that made the Cooking Mama series a best seller -- an innovative concept, full touch screen control, approachable gameplay for everyone and, of course, a charismatic mentor who pushes you in her own endearing way to give a gold medal performance every time," said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco.

Players will use their stylus to plant and harvest food and flowers. Items can be produced from crops, such as strawberry jams and jack-o-lanterns. Up to four gardeners can compete in multiplayer modes and trade their produce.

I want I want... i really like cooking mama 1 and 2. I hope this is just fun as the other 2....wow..so looking to it!!

and..urm.cooking mama is better in my opinion

Cooking mama 1 and 2 are alot better than gardening mama. In gardening mama, you are working on your own garden and it's more to a rpg game that you have to work on your plants which they dont grow into a big tree in one day.
