Finally Found a Jasper. Team FDOU Lot # 0842X manfuactured 10-14-08. 12.1 on the console but still came with the 175watt power brick. Looked through the vents behind the fan and could see the sticker that says Jasper on it.

cool, where'd u get it from?

is it hard to see the jasper sticker there? i'd suspect you'd need some accurate flashlighting. will keep this in mind when i go jasper hunting.

There were rumours that the transition boxes would have jaspers paired with 175watters. So maybe this might be legit.

japsers will work with older power bricks, but older boxes will not work with japser bricks.

if the xbox has internal memory, that means its Jasper.

so with internal memory, everytime save game, must choose which to use?
(internal/HDD)?

from what I seems at the motherboard.

It seems not much different comparing the falcon set.

from what the Soruces said.

Different GPU Chip. (From what I see the chip it looks the same, just lesser resisitor)

RAM Chip is back in fashion (means you got 4 rams chips on the top and 4 ram chips for the buttom)

100 percent no 3 Red Rings ? you guys make the choices.

yes, actually don't have any drastic changes to the internals. maybe when they design valhalla, they re-do everything (one big heatsink for the combined chip and more space underneath the DVD-rom)

they save cost by making smaller GPU but have to add 256 internal flash memory, so their manufacturing costs should stay about the same. it is possible they'll continue manufacture falcons (w/o the internal memory for premium and elite sets) since falcon are also quite reliable ?

True. Falcon is very reliable comparing the Xenon Model And Zephyr. They have lesser cause of 3 Red Rings Of Death.

Didn't know that Jasper which actually adding the 256 Internal Flash Memory for the NXE.

so what happen now with those 256 and 512 MU ? throw ? tongue.gif

i don't think they will continue manufacturing falcons after this.
now that NXE have a built in memory to work with(in Jasper), ppl who bought Arcade doesn't have to shell for bigger storage.

good move i say..

hurmm.. i think the extra internal memory is for ms to track down those pirates.. they already changed the agreement on nxe release, so i think this must be something to do with it. by memory card of hdd, ppl can remove it, but via internal memory? good move ms.

How does adding internal memory help MS track down pirates?

Hacked 360s that can play ahem games shouldn't go online in the first place.

Wakarimasen!
