do you guys know how the converse shoe sizes are?

im planning to get some converse shoes here but i dont exactly know the size to get.. im like a size US8 to US8 and a half in brands like lacoste and nike..

i visited the converse store the other day and i saw that the UK size 6 and a half (US7) looked like the proper size for me (i didnt try them on though).. is it true that their shoes are a little bigger compared to others in terms of the same size number?

@5w33 - are these stocks like taken directly from the factory or what?

if i get a converse all star UK size 6, what about the jack purcell leather sizing? UK size 6 as well or?
