I would like to know if there is any great improvement on the speaker side of the iPhone 3G?
I plan on upgrading my 2G, but this concerns me A LOT.

@V3000
if we don't self regulate ourselves, who will be there to regulate us?
mods for this section come by once in a blue moon.

Seriously, I wanted to hear this from you 3G owners.
I don't see anything wrong about that.
Different people has different opinions on the speaker?

the iphone 3g grips better in your hand due to it's curved shape.

the battery life is longer too, or maybe it's just me.

.. and whats your opinion on the speaker? audio quality wise, how loud, can it be heard in traffic and packed areas etc.

imo the 2g is like a joke and i find the ringtones quite useless.

of all the problems ive encountered with the phone, the speaker is my main issue right now!

bro... the speaker of iphone 3g is slightly improved than the 2g speaker... as far as my concern, if u really neead a loud and powerful speaker... iphone is not for u man....
for quality wise... the update of 2.2 Firmware improved the sound quality when talking on the phone... but its not as loud as the nokia, sony ericsson, samsung or LG. always got scold by my friends as sometimes i cant hear their call despite i already put my vibrate on.....

so my solution is using an earphone since i always listen to music....
but hey.... if u really wanted loud sounds and all... iphone 3g is not for u...

this is my personal opinion...

Happy to see soo many reply regarding this smile.gif
What's a Lively forum and Good forumer.

Cause of this, Today i manage to compare my i3G with my friend i2G.. frankly speaking.. base on real life, me and my friend both agree we don't see (hear) any diffenrent on both our iPhone.. (Both still gives soft sound) sad.gif
I think only upgrade your i2G to i3G if u need the 3G (HSDPA) funtion.. I'm happy to online with it, alot more faster then i2G.

p/s: Dear TS, Just ignore some 'ppl' here, If our post is wrong or whatever MOD will close it or give us warning.

Cheers! Peace Ho! >_<~ No fight fight, this forum is for all biggrin.gif

Right... you don't realise what the consequences of your words lead to do you V3000? I am very supportive of open discussions and I find that you have done nothing wrong but you must know that in this one thread alone, you managed to shoot a lot of old timers in the head. Old timers in the iPhone forum who have contributed so much in here. It's not very appreciative of you to not look at the big picture before making a comment.

You say no fight but you don't realise that you are the one who fought.

Btw, I'm not trying to scare you or anything. It is not my intent to threaten you in any way but what I'm saying to you is based on my disappointment with the level of respect you give to other people especially so when you base your judgement not by studying all the factors involved but only by what you personally think is right. I hope you can sit back, think for a bit and realise what I'm trying to point out.

I apologise to the TS for going OT. No further discussion from me on it in here. Cheers.

I'm sorry, i do respect ppl who know how to respect other's rights.
As i mention earlier, Forum is to discuss stuff's we not sure; not for us to 'Suddenly Jump In ' and Telling someone 'Do you really need to start a new Thread regarding this'? or any word's that have the same meanings.
-I've see this lot's times in this thread (iPhone section) while at others thread i never find this funny words.

p/s: If you don't like/happy with what's i say above, Report me to MOD or kindly Ignore me. Thanks alot for reading.

Cheers biggrin.gif

@V3000
we actually had encountered lots of users like you who just couldn't care about the order of this sub-forum works.

when people do something like that, obviously it's me that you are referring to.
We have already set up so much of templates and guides up on the PINNED section just to get the attention of you guys, but hey posting a new thread and getting responses like yours would be better instead of using the search button?

For troubleshooting, move over to the iPhone club, use the template and prompt replies will be there in no time, but phone-drop-into-toiletbowl threads crop up along with this differences thread so to speak.

Considerable time and efforts had been used up by alot of people before you to make this forum a better place but still the same shit happens albeit that it's just on a different day.

Oh well I can't be actually arguing with a guy whose interest is in Watching Porn right? Do try looking at your previous postings too not only in this section but all others. tak constructive langsung

If you hang-out in iphone section long enough, you will understand why old-timers are very sensitive in opening a new thread.

U guys u guys. Not only that you are offtopic, but u guys are arguing at the wrong topic as well.

TS is asking bout the comparison betw 3G and 2G speakers.
Homeland security came in and suggested to him to google instead.

So far I haven't even thought about the differences betw both speakers. I think this kinda a topic should be allowed to be posted without kena shoot. Just my opinion. Sorry for stepping into your home. Ciao.

u see how slim is the iphone.... how u suppost them to fit all in in 1 slim phone
ok, they can give u better camera + speaker... but then u will complain about the size and design

u can see why Nokia N series phone so bulky
just because they try to fit in all what consumer 1
at least 5 MP camera, dual stereo speaker, video call camera at the front

now every 1 use touch screen, Nokia also follow, so N97 is coming out to save it own ass
b4 every 1 go for HTC, apple or RIM phones

perhaps TS shud get N97 that coming out next year
iphone 3G speaker cant get what u want dude
