I wonder why I cant connect to anyone with an E flag. Even though my encryption is forced... any ideas?

Added on January 2, 2010, 10:59 amActually it probs with peers that only have one set of these flags HE, XEP, IXE, XE, E. No D, d, U, u etc. Just the 1 of those first set of flags.

U can? Hahaha penang speed has crashed from the time i work up till now (9am) around 80kb for ddl.... QQ wonder who stole the telephone cable for copper that the speed so low...

My backup internet line is string n 2 cans.

Anyone noticed... that some IP addresses r banned by trackers or even the peer's isp? I had to cycle through a few until i got my speed back... n its not a special ip since i usually get 60.xxxxxxxxx n 124.xxxxxxxxxxx so if u guys r experiences lousy speeds but great ddl speeds that could be the case of abuse by our fellow morons.

Mind hitting me with the link?

Set ur bt.transp_disposition to 15, net.max_halfopen to 8 n see what happens.

TCP is active.... good old tm is shaping u... did u force encryption n go to the high ports like 56000 onwards? Not to mention port forwarding.

Well, monitor the speed for a day n see what happens

TM shaping due to detection of tcp n dht.

Added on March 16, 2010, 11:09 amThey will shape some ppl regardless if they r heavy users or not. This is allow others to get full speed on their packages. I presume they have a rotation of users to shape for better "quality of service".

seeders:peers 1:2 or better 1:1 multiple torrents from different trackers.

Lvl lords sound like a torrent leech mod....

Half ports? OMG there is a reason why utorrent needs only 8 half open ports cause any more gives no real benefit. I even set it back (after doing the video guide) since it gives no real lasting speed boost.

Go to utorrent advance n see if net.max_halfopen is 8. If it is higher set it back to 8.

Take a screencap n let us see.

Oh forgot to mention do not dl the newest 2.0 betas n 2.1 alphas... they have a lot of problems... for 2.1 get build 18304 n below n u r ok. For 2.0.1 beta i am not sure.. u'll have to check their forums for safe build to use.

Still getting bad reports of possible mem leaks n locked files... better wait n read the forums.
