I bought a third-party VGA Cable and used it to connect my Xbox 360 to my LCD Monitor (Samsung 2233SW).

I set the resolution to the highest but there seems to be a problem. The picture seems blurry. I can see some ghosting. If I connect the monitor to my computer, the picture is perfect. It only happens to the Xbox 360.

What's wrong? The cable?

U can bought it at here ma.. so many online sellers. It gives u better quality. But if the blurry is becos of ur 360 is not running at native resolution, i think ori and 3rd party more or less the same. Only 3rd will degrade one.

There is. I made the same mistake as you. The original cable will solve your problems.

Or get a hdmi to dvi connector if your 'box has it.

Using an original VGA Cable and the picture looks better but there are still some blurry ghosting effect left behind...

Should I try HDMI to DVI?

for 22 inch should be 1680 x 1050. The the optimum resolution. Mine using samsung 226BW can't use higher than that but look perfect.

The 2233SW is 21.5" to be exact and its native resolution is 1920x1080, not 1680x1050. Its aspect ratio is 16:9.
