Well, u have to crack open the casing (the component cable). It is the cheapest solution anyway.

p/s: If you have done this already, sometime it seems a little bit tight. but it should be no problem.

crap, so even getting a monitor with HDMI output is useless right?

Let me get this straight here...if i have a TV with HDMI output, i just only need to plug in the HDMI right? donthave to worry about the sounds? right?

thats what i have read and heard from other places other than LYN

got the answer already, same as what Jcsy mentioned. smile.gif p/s: in the picture in my previous post, can you see the shiny thing beside the hdmi cable? that's the component cable without the casing.

yup i saw that diagram smile.gif

thus if i wanted 2 connect my xbox 360 to my lcd monitor

i would need a hdmi cable > dvi adapter and send that into my lcd monitor

i would need a "fill in the blanks" for the audio from the component cable?

I asked before from bernard, the cable itself is about 100+, at that time thought that it's a little too much for a cable. I am using the HDMI port, and I just managed to open up the component cable. Trying on the sound right now.

Btw, wanted to ask, previously I was using the output from my LCD to my Hifi to get the sound, and I notice that when those games that have that have vocal, the voices are quite difficult to be heard, esp games like GHWT. Could this be because of the output from my LCD to hifi?
