Newly released ASM funds entering the market today issit?

Main difference between buying shares and gambling:

In buying shares, at the end of the day, you OWN something. Even if it is not worth much, at least you own it.

In gambling, you win if you win, if you lose, you have nothing.

Value investing makes sense, but to me completely useless because

How the hell do you put an intrinsic value to a particular company?

I know the books say there are many methods to do this, but can you really trust any of those methods?

1) NTA
All profitable companies trade at more than their NTAs. So to buy stock using this = useless (no 'good' companies trade cheaper than NTA)

2) DCF
Bullshit. Who in the world can forecast future income until infinity? I know people will say 'Estimate la'. But can you really trust those estimations? Plantation companies for instance, within 2-3 months their future cashflows 'estimate' can change drastically. You expect to value company using estimation? Go ahead.

3) PE multiple
Another lie. Value investment books preach to value companies 'intrinsically' without using external factors. So using anything related to market price e.g. PE ratio is hypocritical. You say value company internally, but use previous 'market price' to 'value' a company. Sheesh.
