I was wondering should I get a dock for my iphone 3G, I own an iphone 2g previously, and I kinda missed the dock.

well it depends if u really need it or not. a dock can be useful as it holds the iphone . for me i don;t really need it . lol.

Actually I find it very useful lor, especially syncing all that. Answer phone atime, very easily can answer and activate speakerphone.

I also use my iphone as alarm. If got dock, I can directly turn off the alarm by sliding the slider. But now, I have to lift the phone to switch off the alarm.

well if u want to hit the snooze button for an alarm , just press the volume button . XD thats a tip i found out , lol.

I have developed a habit now where I can just reach over and slide the slider to turn off the alarm while it's lying on my bedside table. It's amazing how precise I am. I'm thinking I need a speaker dock so my alarm can blast me awake a bit louder.

hmm. i was thinkin of that too. but its like soo ex. 700+

3g dock is RM700?

why cant u get the unversal adaptor which cost rm200?

You can purchase it online at Apple Store Malaysia or you can get it in any Machines / Epicentre stores in all the major shopping malls.

3g dock can be bought from garage sale. 60 bucks only.lol

hmm it seems that those who have used the iphone 2g, is used to having a dock =D i think i m getting one for my 3G

I'm assuming the RM60 is a third party device. I can't bring myself to use a cheapo third party device with my aifontriji unless its reputable.

That didn't come off as sounding pompous did it I mean the dock here is only RM65 when Apple Store is selling it for USD40+?! Cannot be what... has to be a 3rd party device. I didn't buy a 3000 dollar phone just to have 50/50 chance of it being turned redundant by a dock that has no reputation.

i have the usa ori 3g dock...
since da day i bought it, neva used it aso...cant dock if hv case on...so its just sitting in my drawer...if any1 wants, let me noe...
n its not like the wan in pics in the above threads...its exactly like the wan in apple website...
n most likely the above one is an universal sorta dock...
