Yes it is comfortable. Mic is also good. The headset itself is pretty light so the pressure or weight will not bother your long hours of gaming. Sound quality is good but can't beat the cheaper Superlux headphones. But its not that it sounds bad, just not as good. If you don't already own a better headphone, you will not notice it and it will not bother you. If can find Carcharias for RM200, I would say its a great deal if it's new.

Packaging is where the Razer shines. If it matters to you.

If you dont need the mic..... Get Superlux HD 668B + Asus Xonar DG/DGX combo = less than rm300

Yeah i loved Razer Chicharias,i used it for 3 years + b4 it died on me   one of my favorite headset.
Now i'm trying Roccat Kulo, this headset the sound so loud leh,even at 24% volume loudness still beat my old Razer Chicharias with full 100% volume jack up  I need to reduce music and sound volume in any games if not my ears will explode.

For Kulo the sound is crisp and good i like it,maybe 1 thing i don't like a bit bout kulo is the earphone yeah its on the ear not like the chicharias cupped ear design.

Within the 3 years of using chicharias,i don't have any problem with it,just it went totally dead on me one day(no sound coming out at all,prolly the wire faulty or something) but beware the length of chicharias wire is very long one.  and also the sound a little bit soft even after i maxxed out the volume.

new headset for broadcast? awesome   by the way why don't wanna get brand new Kraken Pro? it's only 299 from Heavyarm + 1 year warranty. Kraken Pro is excellent gaming headset with a good mic and comfortable to use as well. i can say it's match with Steelseries Siberia V2 i use now in term of comfort and sound quality.

just suggestion 

i use Siberia V2 for more then 1 year and Kraken Pro just about month only. previously changed from normal V2 to Frost Blue V2. usually i use my V2 at least minimum 5 hours and maximum up to 12 hours or more. it's comfortable enough for me but i know sometimes when you sweat alot around your ears, it's bothering me too.

why i don't really like about cushion type earpads is especially you have pet at inside your house like dog or cat because usually their fur will stick to the cushion earpads and it's very tricky to get it off when it's too much. dust also easily get attracted by cushion type earpads. this is why i get leather type earpads headphone. so far V2 that i used work perfectly fine with no tear off or what so ever and i meant the previous one that i use which normal V2. i guess Kraken Pro gonna be the same too seems it was my first time using Kraken Pro.

well i use TTeSports headset which cushion earpads before. i have a cat at home and it's very annoying to clean up the earpads. i use TTeSports headset for like 5 months, the first 2 months.. the cushion pad already have a dust. after keep cleaning it up, dust still come back. i keep cleaning it up and still have a dust attracted to the pads. so that's why i decided to change to leather type earpads.

wash it huh? urm well it's seems like i never wash my leather pads lol mind me.. because i don't really see dust or fur attracted to a leather pads so i assume everything was clean

i suggest you go to any gaming store like Heavyarm and test each one of headset available at there. i found out that Kraken Pro has much more bass then Carcharias when i tested it out. (well it's my opinion) 

yea that's the bad thing about leather. it's smell..

I thought, those most professional gaming headset doesnt work just like the other normal~audiophile head
some were tune on mid and high, also lot of treble n bass..therefore u could hear that bullet sound

so after few days using Kraken Pro, how do you feel? just wondering.. because some people first day using brand new item will like "oh this certainly the best thing i ever buy" and then the next 3 days like "oh, so regret buying this".

anyway Corsair Vengeance price much cheaper then Kraken Pro right? how was it compare to Kraken Pro in terms of sounds and microphone? last time i wanted to buy that headset too but my friend suggest brought something else.

awww i mistaken between 1300 and 1500. i see, that's good! surround system is what i like to have in my gaming headset. my Steelseries V2 does served me really well with 7. 1 surround sound. especially when you hearing something like Sunstrike on Invoker, so syiok!

any comment regarding astro headset ? like a40 /a50 ? is a40 better since it come with astro mixamp

If you just do a search on this thread itself using the search function, plenty has been said about the A40 and A50.
A40 is IMO however, a better sounding headset than the A50. You don't need the Mixamp if you're just going to be playing on the PC, Dolby Headphone can be gotten cheaper with an Asus Xonar U3 or DGX.

Also, if you haven't already figured out, there are better choices than the A40 in a similar price range.
If you have a budget of RM1000, why would you be wasting money on gaming headsets?
