Depends entirely on you. One is stereo and the other is virtual 7.1 surround.

I'd go for the 1300 simply because the 1500 features does not complement the price.

I only used Razer Carcharias headset before. So that is the only thing I can recommend for anything below RM300. To be honest, this headset belong more towards the <RM200 range. Maybe because their mic is expensive or the impressive packaging it comes with or the brand.

One thing to remember for all gaming headset purchasers, the gaming headset you paid so much for only has a lifetime of it's warranty. I'm not aware of any gaming headset brands that have a post warranty service centre in Malaysia or Singapore.

If anyone knows that there is a Malaysia service centre for Steelseries, Razer, Roccat, Corsair, Logitech etc please correct me.

I wonder if places like Jaben which sells audiophile equipment can do servicing for gaming headsets or not?

Edit: I suddenly remembered that Creative has a service centre in Singapore. So that is the only one I know. (Creative is a SG company)

I personally felt that some Razer products are overpriced somehow because of the brand.
True that Malaysia doesn't have any warranty service centre. But if you bought from a normal retail shop, aren't they going to help you with the RMA service?
The previous headset I bought was the Logitech Precision PC Gaming headset. I accidentally dropped it off from the table ( around 1m height ) and one side of the headset doesn't work anymore. Then soon I have to put the cable to a certain position to get the audio. And after leaving it unused for a few months, the foam started to chip off. Are most of the headsets like that?

Did anyone tried out the Logitech G430 headset yet? How's the microphone?
