QUOTE(antonio @ Nov 13 2011, 07:32 AM) Its HEAVY!!!! Cm storm Sirus owner here TB MW3 Charlie http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/call-o...ce-charlie.aspx is lighter....and another you could consider is the CM Sirus.... both 3 headsets are 5.1 True here the reviews to help u make the decision (from same source) CM storm Sirus Roccat Kave Turtle Beach Z6A FYI. Kave is cheapest and Sirus is quite expensive. Both have solid build quality. This post has been edited by whitedrake88: Nov 13 2011, 03:34 PM |

QUOTE(oec88 @ Nov 13 2011, 10:10 PM) Gone through those review not only from blog or website, I even went through those reviews posted in Youtube, sounds tempting. Currently no stock, got to wait until December but pre-order now only RM280 for a new one. The forum (include the product official forum) also help alot, to check whether got ppl complain or not. (alot complain = quality suck)Awesome? How awesome? QUOTE(antonio @ Nov 14 2011, 12:38 AM) Nicee findings...a must for peeps who is considering a multichannel headset... Coz when I want grab a 5.1 headset, I almost spend a month to make the decision and get all the reviews from forum/Video/Hardware Review siteThis post has been edited by whitedrake88: Nov 14 2011, 01:10 AM |

QUOTE(cyh03176 @ Nov 25 2011, 06:26 PM) z6a looks nice, but i will use it on my asus g53 laptop, so i doubt it will produce 5.1 surround sound =( u can consider CM Storm Sirus 5.1 RM399. It come with 2 modes, analog(must atleast have inboard 5.1 soundcard) and USB(using the provided external sound card).siberia v2 is in my list though I would say the sound quality is better than Kave. Sound Quality Sirus > z6a > kave Bass Sirus = Z6A > Kave Feature Sirus > Z6A > kave Comfortability Z6A > Sirus > kave Price (from low to high) Kave > z6a > sirus (above is base on my experience) CM storm Sirus Roccat Kave Turtle Beach Z6A This post has been edited by whitedrake88: Nov 25 2011, 11:33 PM |

QUOTE(JuzJoe @ Nov 28 2011, 04:26 PM) Roccat kave is not a light weight headset; I'm currently using it. Comparing it to my other headset like 5Hv2 (which I regrettably sold it) it weights a ton. Absolutely not for long hours gaming. seem like u have bad experience with the kave....i plan to get it before i grab my sirusThis post has been edited by whitedrake88: Nov 28 2011, 06:10 PM |

QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Nov 28 2011, 06:06 PM) Cause , by around 3-5 hours of usage , your hair would be like compacted due to the weight of the ear cups If let me choose again maybe i will go for Sennheiser Sirus looks quite nice , more light weight material used unlike Kave , but that goes for it's heavy construction. Btw just realise Corsair headset is using memory form, look like the headset will be more comfortable than others This post has been edited by whitedrake88: Nov 28 2011, 06:16 PM |

QUOTE(temptation1314 @ Feb 10 2012, 03:00 PM) Hmm, all sifus here. What do you think of Razer Chimaera 5.1? is it worth it to churn out the additional RM200 for the 5.1? QUOTE If we're honest, we haven't heard many good 5.1 headsets but in the end, we feel the CM Storm Sirus tries too hard to offer the 5.1 experience. It's far from the worst headset we've used though - it's comfortable and in stereo mode was very capable, even when using the Tactical Mixing Console. However, it often sounded muffled, with a range of audio suffering in all corners of the audio spectrum. It also goes to show how good the Asus Vulcan is, and that if you want 5.1 surround sound, buy a set of speakers rather than a headset. Conclusion: All 5.1 headsets are bad so just get a 2.1 headset This post has been edited by whitedrake88: Feb 10 2012, 06:32 PM |

QUOTE(cyh03176 @ Feb 10 2012, 11:33 PM) i dont remember seeing that, the only thing people complained about is the heavy price tag for sirus on the internet Maybe the review's guy is professional gamer cant really agree with the statement in that link, i owned a asus vulcan before i bought this cm storm sirus, while vulcan is light and good at active noise cancelling, it drops 90% bass effect, i would appreciate that if im a professional gamer, but not as a normal gamer who simply wants to enjoy my game. however, i just finish playing bf3 and mw3 with my sirus today, sirus definitely more accurate in pinpointing the position of enemy 5.1 is bad? maybe for virtual 5.1, but not for sirus' true 5.1 |

QUOTE(cyh03176 @ Feb 11 2012, 06:02 PM) asus vulcan is EXTREMELY comfortable. although its ear pads are leather, your ears are still able to "breathe" and your ears will not sweat at all after 3-4 hours of gaming and also wont feel like you need a break from the headset because of feeling hot. but still, the bass effect after active noise cancelling is on, is disappointing. NO BASS AT ALL! RM450 for sirus !!??? Lingloong only sell RM399i tried both yesterday, i like the leather pads because the sounds become more solid and cancelled more outside noise. but the leather pads are hard, maybe still new, first time try yesterday, so they are not so comfortable. i prefer the micro-fibre pads more because they are more comfy and my ears wont sweat. asus vulcan is only available in C-Zone for 399 (got it for 370) in plaza lowyat. CM Sirus is available at Thunder Match at Berjaya Timesquare for 450 (got it for 379 staff price) and i remember i saw it in ALL IT Hypermarket in plaza lowyat too |
