Noob question : Using earphone / headphone with NO stereo speakers , can you hear enemy footsteps ?
I'm thinking to get Steelseries Flux In-Ear non-pro , and comparing with Razer Hammerhead at versus.com , it says Flux has no stereo speakers compared to Hammerhead . This post has been edited by aimanace94: Dec 3 2013, 02:12 PM |

QUOTE(Yagami5159 @ Dec 3 2013, 02:54 PM) Weird, they said Siberia V2 doesn't have stereo speakers as well, but If your PC have a sound card like Xonar DG, you can switch to either headphone channel or stereo speakers, which probably why most of the people said that it's best to use the headphones with a sound card. Hope that answer your question. i dont use desktop i use Asus G55 gaming laptop so definitely doesnt relate to soundcards . i play FPS , racing and open world game . so even if i use laptop , can i hear enemy footsteps with Flux ? because i can with Razer electra , before and after installing Razer SurroundAnyway, what type of games you play? |

Steelseries Flux In-Ear Pro user here . For music this earphone has excellent sound quality on highs and mids and acceptable , above-average bass (not as heavy as Razer Hammerhead)
For gaming sound is extremely crisp and you can hear every little sound compared to my older Razer Electra thanks to the balanced armature technology i think . but unfortunately the surround sound capability is there , but not so sharp so you have to be extremely focused to hear enemy footsteps . just my 2-cents This post has been edited by aimanace94: Dec 5 2013, 03:35 PM |
