Any true surround sound gaming headphones to recommend? I thought I want to try Megalodon, but since it's a simulated 7.1, I'll pass.
Other than Kave, any suggestions?

If it's gaming headphone should probably go with gaming series headphone that comes with microphone.
I have both gaming and audiophile headphone. I have to say that audiophile headphone produce much more better sound. But I rather put audiophile headphone category for music.
For gaming I would prefer gaming headphone. I would go for one with true surround. For example Turtle Beach, Triton, they have 5.1 true surround headphone and that's what Razer will have soon for the Tiamat. Built in microphone is a must, unless the gamer like to play alone or don't have communication skills online.
As for virtual 5.1/7.1 gaming headphone, you guys can ditch that.
I do agree with what antonio said above, those who actually don't have much experience or don't own much peripherals due to limiting factors usually TALK MUCH than people who own them.

QUOTE(yijinchua @ Dec 29 2011, 05:40 PM) Hey guys, Logitech G35 7.1 Virtual Surround sound, RM349. Worth it? This headset used to have good reviews over other virtual surround headset. But I will stay away from any "virtual" sound quality.
