Hey guys, anyone using the Hammerhead Pro? Does it sound any good?
Some reviews said the bass is lacking, some said it's very balanced while some said its poundingly muddy. @__@ As far as I know, no place to try them out. |

QUOTE(EdwardNewgate @ Dec 17 2013, 01:49 PM) What kind of headsets are you looking for? Those earphone/in-ear types or those that go on/over your ear (headphones)? If your budget is about RM200, there are mobile headsets (with microphone) that are in-ear from Sennheiser that goes about RM199; their sound is pretty balanced, not bass-heavy as gaming brands. I forgot the model number, but it is similar to MM70i/s or something; do check them out. |

QUOTE(sony3000111 @ Dec 19 2013, 04:04 PM) Hi guys, I was looking for the best bang for the buck headset for gaming, but as many people here have said, gaming headsets are hardly worth it for their price when compared to their audio quality. So, after snooping around a bit, I found the Superlux HD681 EVO for RM 149. Now, I need a good standalone microphone to combo with it, but I haven't found much.. The Antlion ModMic and the Zalman ZM-Mic1 mics are quite expensive after counting shipping etc. And another mic a kind member in this thread suggested a few months ago (http://dx.com/p/mini-clip-on-microphone-7080) is cheap, but takes like 3 weeks to ship here. The Superlux cable removable or not? That being said, sifus can please recco a good mic that's available immediately cuz I need to get in my gaming sessions before the end of the year haha! Otherwise, I'll just wait 3 weeks for the clip on microphone to ship over Q__Q |

QUOTE(hellflame @ Dec 21 2013, 09:05 AM) hey guys.. i am thinking to buy a Asus Orion Pro , price RM320 maybe. Is the headset performance worth to the price? I like the design of their headset, but dont know how is the performance will be. Accecpt any advice.. I've never even seen Asus' peripherals in stock, suggest you get something mainstream a bit so easier to recommend or feedback on BTW my budget is RM200~350. ... like like my Carcharias I want to sell *hide before kena sepak* |

QUOTE(eddydo @ Dec 27 2013, 05:12 PM) Hello need some recommendations. If you are wearing specs, maybe should get something that sits on your ears instead of covering them.. hmm.I have around rm 200 to spend on this headset. 1) mic is a must 2) i wear spectacles, i don't want the headset to clamp too tightly 3) good quality of both mic and sound. (my previous headphone was monoprice 8323) 4) want an upgrade from monoprice 8323 in term of audio and +mic Low budget cause i'm upgrading my mouse and mousepads at the same time |

QUOTE(aviator.v8 @ Jan 12 2014, 06:29 PM) Hello guys. Just want to ask for the best headphones for RM 350 and below. I use the Logitech G430 and I love it! Currently on my list is logitech G430, roccat kave, turtle beach z6a and plantronics gamecom 780. It's very comfortable; you can also wash the earpads seperately if dirty. Very nicely balanced sound that's good with a lot of music and media and a strong bass kick for movies and games The virtual surround sound USB card works very well too. |

I wouldn't say that, I still enjoy the virtual 7.1 audio with gaming headsets, it does feel more immersive

QUOTE(SSJBen @ Jan 28 2014, 10:37 PM) You got a point there, but I don't see any 7.1 USB soundcard sold seperately... and Razer Surround software just plain sucks --always messes up the audio settings in my PC. But like the Logitech G430, it's not bad mah |

QUOTE(ntw @ Mar 24 2014, 01:33 AM) need recommendation for a budget gaming headset, less than rm200. i am using rosewill rhts but it simply is too heavy for long time usage. after finish one movie the whole ear feels flattened and pain (wearing specs). You can try looking at the Logitech G230; it goes for about RM180 in lelong so any circumaural headsets with preferably detachable mic or foldable mic to recommend? |

QUOTE(ntw @ Mar 24 2014, 07:06 PM) Logitech G230 is circumaural (over the ear) and wont be too heavy right? need user feedback on the quality..mari mari I owned the G430; I have a big head, but the headset doesn't clamp down tight and the weight is light-ish lah, can bear for hours on gaming. Plus, the earpads are removable to wash incase you sweat a lot |

QUOTE(jason991 @ Apr 16 2014, 12:19 PM) hi guys anyone here own razer electra? does it justify its price in terms of performance, don't really care about the mic though Very muddy and bassy sound last I tested it out I personally wouldn't pay RM200 for it, if you're paying so much, the Hammerhead Pro sounds much nicer to me (Razer wise anyway, won't speak of other gaming brands cause I haven't tried them yet) |
