Hi guys, i have about RM500 budget. Should i get Astro A40 or Audio Technica ATH-M50 or V Moda Crossfade LP OR should i just stick to the good ol' Steelseries siberias? Anyone got any opinion? edit 1: My music preference is Muse, Linkin Park and ACDC. games i play are FPS and Fifa 14. Thank you! This post has been edited by Eclipse123: Dec 26 2013, 03:48 AM

QUOTE(kwbaka @ Dec 29 2013, 02:07 PM) Astro A50 user reporting in Hey, just a question. The A50 is so expensive, why did you buy Astro product when you can spend the money can get audiophile headphones like Audio Technica, Beyerdynamic or even Sennheiser? Just curious

Any of you tried the steelseries elite?
Is it a joke or worth the RM700+ price tag?

QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Dec 29 2013, 05:56 PM) Holy crap! 700 bucks for a steelseries? Can't wait for Head-fi to get a crack at it. Maybe steelseries has something on their hands that they think can command such monies. yeah, RM700+ for their BEST headset! I'm looking for a headphone too, but definitely not the Steelseries Elite. Looking at V-Moda Crossfade LP and Audio Technica ATH M50 but still haven't decided yet

QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Dec 29 2013, 10:30 PM) imo the ath-a700 closed headphone beats the m50. i wanted to buy the m50 once but after testing it, was not impressed by it. i already own the a700 n it sounds more full. however the m50 LE (limited 50th anniversary) is impressive n better than the normal one. dunno bout the vmoda crossfade but the is a version 2 for that. How much did you buy your ATH-a700 closed headphones? and Where did you test them out? I'm looking for a retail shop in PJ/KL area that has vmoda or audio technica headphones for us to test.

QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Dec 30 2013, 02:13 PM) Yeah normally higher than online retailers. But the good thing is U get to test it with diff amps and see how the sound with different types of song. Also the items you bought can b tested first so peace of mind is there. In SG items are priced higher than online as well but it is a norm there if you need their warranty service. And it is always nice to test a few headphones of the same price range to see how all of them compared. i also wanna test, but it's impossible for me to travel all the way to Penang from KL just to test a few headphones. sigh. KL also no where to test.
