if you guys want a good cheap stereo headphone without a mic. find Superlux, those are best bang for bucks. but sound card you have to find one for yourself. for Virtual surround, i don't think it's a big deal, since most game has it's own virtual surround, it doesn't really require you to have a sound card that has virtual surround system.

Sound card is only important for those users that wanted higher quality audio, for Surround sound, i would take that as marketing gimmick( for those headphone that claim to have built in virtual surround soundcard )

Games now even has it's own virtual surround engine. i don't think you really need that.. even cheapo headphone without soundcard could know where's the sound comes from certain direction in old games just like left 4 dead.

Price for Standard Gaming Headphone has slowly gone up, people would rather spend on Audiophile class headphone nowadays.

And with alot more of market gimmicking, with blah blah new feature new feature and new product that supports more. i don't really think we're heading to the bright future for gaming headphones.

But younger generations are buying into marketing gimmicks, gaming brands, and hardly even know what real audiophile brands are - AKG, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Denon, Koss, Grado, and etc

Audiophile brand are overshadowed by Beats By Dr.Dre.

Users like us that spending money like over RM100 will do proper research to know if this product is actually worth the money i spend.( i admit i'm cheapskate in this)

same here lol, there are way too many good gaming headset around this price range.

1. CM storm Sirus
2. Roccat Kave
3. SteelSeries Siberia v2
4. Corsair HS1A
5. Sennheiser 161
6. Logitech G35

and the list goes on...

remove Roccat Kave, they are not reasonably light weight, they are medium-heavy weight. Sennheiser stuff is quite good.

Corsair has recently release their new headset product line.
