QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Apr 14 2012, 09:03 PM) lol compared to my cheapo A4Tech its very premium. Good build Quality out of the blister pack, tested it just now and the earcups are very comfy & roomy for my ears, quite light even its a wireless set, double volume control on the headset & transmitter and it includes 2x AA batteries Bass is great, explosions sounds realistic, very nice.. would've want to keep it but need the Xbox to work the mic.. I need the mic for skype |

QUOTE(Clem1982 @ Apr 14 2012, 09:38 PM) lol nicely done Sry guys, minor mistake, Turns out that the X31 will work on wired mode as well but will require a 2.5mm jack to 3.5mm cable adaptor... Turtle Beach has one with in-line volume control but any converter cable will do fine so lung as you have a USB soundcard for the headphone to work else its just the Mic |

QUOTE(air @ Apr 16 2012, 12:32 PM) If you look into both items a bit more further, there are targeted to different needs. True... but what you are doing now is answering sasaug's question actually... well partially.. but still ... Not to mentioned how many percentage of your gaming and music? This can be lead to another different choice, depend on your preference. BTW sasaug, tell us what are your needs? |

QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Dec 17 2013, 10:47 AM) Nothing to say really. Just have to wait for reviews to come out to see if its an overpriced headband or an actual product of quality worth our money. Basically I'm looking for comments about the specs and design, MSRP is not out yet though but at what price do you think this one should be priced at?The design reminds me about one of Superlux ranges, the HD661 if not mistaken. |

QUOTE(Skidd Chung @ Dec 17 2013, 03:57 PM) Design wise looks 'cool' enough, can't tell how solid it is based on the picture. Solidness meaning, it doesn't creak when using or when moving your head around. Removable flexible microphone is a good feature. In head-fi.org, gamers mod their audiophile headphone to attached a removable cable or buy a mod-mic from Antlion. So this option to remove the mic is a good feature for people who wants to use it as a portable headphone. From the spec sheet, the impedance seemed rather high at 68 ohms for a portable headset. But I think as long as below 100 should not really matter. Difference cables provided in the package for difference uses is always welcome. Somehow, looking at the total package, I don't think Bitfenix will sell this below RM300. Edit: I'm beginning to think this is a improved and re-branded Superlux HD661. The specs are very similar to the Superlux and also the look as well. The weight of the headphone is also similar so is the 68 ohm impedance. And reading Bitfenix announcement about their partnership with a audio vendor with 30 years experience which if you read Superlux history, was also a company founded 30 years ago. Coincidence? Edit 2: Superlux HD661 sells for about RM150 with limited warranty in MY. Let'e see how much Bitfenix can sell their Flo with their improvements. |
