I think its best to refrain urself from gettin razer headsets.
their gaming mice is awesome, been using my DA nearly 3 years.
still works great.

i own a piranha and a charcharis.
both had similar malfunction after a usage of 6 months ++
1.speakers start crackin up
2.then lost of hearing in in left speaker. had to mess around with either the audio jack behind the pc or volumes clip to get that left speaker to work again.
3. zzz. the left speaker cracks up again n lost of hearing. usually happens after a sudden rise of sound.
maybe from gun fire, a chopper flying by or hearing techno musics.
4. the volume clip fails utterly.
its volume up/down label on the clip wore up after frequent use.
and so does the mute mic button labes.

overall. awesome for a lifespan of less than 5 months.
im lookin into logitech g930 wireless.
im traumatized my wires n volume clips now.

Alienware TactXTM headset user reporting... got it from ALL IT for RM270.

Using it for almost 2 Months now.... love it....

ya but im not sure about the comfort because they don't really allow u to test it first before buy.
so might afraid that the headphone will produce several aching or discomfort after long gaming hours.

I do experience the issue with the audio jack and sometimes volume controller as well in which I have to adjust it properly before both sides have sound. It's quite irritating and I know how you feel.

i dont think so, stereo is different from them.

Top up another 50 and u can get a siberia v2. Its on promotion now. 249 at 3rd floor of LYP. Slowly browse from shop to shop

siberia v2 is definitely worth your bucks. its normal pricing is around rm 399. so for rm249, definitely worth your rm50 top up.
its not 5.1 or 7.1. but you can achieve a virtual 7.1 with the usb soundcard.
but if you alrdy have a good dedicated soundcard, den no point with the usb soundcard.
my point of view, save another few days of food consumption, and go for the siberia v2.

Yeah like razer or steelseries brand... some of their model is not labeled as 5.1 nor 7.1..

so consider those as branded 'stereo' headphones?

that just the surround ma, dont have means normal stereo only, unless u consider razer, steelseries branded
