Uhh... all in, $130 + shipping + tax not even the price of the A50 being sold in Malaysia yet. So if one is going to go for the A50, might as well go for the Plyr1 no?

Bro SSJBen, have u tried beyerdyamic custom pro one before? heard that it is a brilliant headphone for gaming and for audiophile too due to ability to tweak around.

lazada is having a good sale for headphones. never tried buying from lazada. hhmm... this is nice..

after a few days looking for a new headset. and after advices from sifoos here. i have made up my mind that, i DO NOT need wireless. because i game on laptop which is in another room that my console setup. and, by sitting near the laptop why the heck i want wireless right? the base will be just behind my laptop if i still choose wireless...when going wired, more option opens up and can save a few hundred ringgit too..i can use my existing wireless chimeara+TB DSS for my ps3/4 setup which is nice for sitting on couch gaming session.

also, i have came out of the gaming branding closet. I used to swear by gaming brand for my gaming setup, but.. i see that for audio, there are a lot more better manufacturer than the usual gaming brand. i have short list a few headset to look for which is

1. bayerdynamic custom pro one - RM719 (lazada)
2. audio technica ATH-900x - RM730 (lazada)
3. sennheiser HD 558 - RM719 (lazada)
4. beats by dre - RM900 hehehehe..... just kidding...

from 1k budget, i can got for about 700-800. saving nearly 200 for new up coming game release. smile.gif
scouting at garage sale... for better deal.. and trusted seller.

thanks guys.

edit: made up my mind. Bayerdynamic Custom Pro One it is. because:
1. removeable cable (i hate long messy cable, so can custom a cable around 2-3 feet according to my liking)
2. customisable means spare parts. in case i broke the hinges or damage the earpad. i can get a new one.

thanks smile.gif

Buy a Creative Aurvana Live! then, no one ever did say Superlux headphones were bass heavy.
Want even more bass?  Get a Fidelio X1. Some more bass?! Then you're in basshead territory and the Sony XBA series is what you'd want.

When I talk about bass, I talk about quality bass. With impact, texture, speed and tightness. It's always quality over quantity.

The Rosewill RHTS-8206 distorts at high volume (around 70% on its in-line amp), especially when it spikes at the 100hz range. The drivers are at its limits and it's as if Rosewill knew about that yet they went ahead and pre-EQ that specific range to bring out that "wow" factor. Distortion = bad design = bad audio, end of story.

CAL! bass is very decent, u hear the detail and quality of the bass that cant be heard on cheapo headphones.
