Think about the SRH440 every time your superlux has a bass deficiencies during songs or movies. Huehuehuehue. GaMinG HeadseT Club, GameRz Lai!

QUOTE(ntw @ Apr 19 2014, 12:53 AM) i agree with this statement. im using superlux hd660, it really does lack in bass but the vocal clarity is really good for its price. good for watching movies and music. if u really want to feel bomb exploding next to u, i suggest u try Rosewill RHTS-8206 @ rm199, this headset comes with a built-in amp and vibration motors, which makes the headset significantly heavier but provides very strong bass. Buy a Creative Aurvana Live! then, no one ever did say Superlux headphones were bass heavy.Want even more bass? Get a Fidelio X1. Some more bass?! Then you're in basshead territory and the Sony XBA series is what you'd want. When I talk about bass, I talk about quality bass. With impact, texture, speed and tightness. It's always quality over quantity. The Rosewill RHTS-8206 distorts at high volume (around 70% on its in-line amp), especially when it spikes at the 100hz range. The drivers are at its limits and it's as if Rosewill knew about that yet they went ahead and pre-EQ that specific range to bring out that "wow" factor. Distortion = bad design = bad audio, end of story. |

Hi all, would like your help to recommend me a new headphone.
Currently I'm using Steelseries Siberia V2 headset. It is good and all, but I find the earcups a little too small for my ears. After less than an hour of use, the top of my ears starts to hurt from the headset pressing down on it. So can any sifu recommend me another headphone with a larger earcups? Thank you! My usage: - Purely for gaming and movies (no music) - Mic is optional - Budget RM 500 - I'm no audiophile, so I'm willing to sacrifice audio quality abit for better comfort |

Can any help recommend me a gaming headphone please? Currently looking at the Logitech G930 but want to know what other potential options there are.
They should be: Wireless USB MIC - yes budget about RM500-600 Appreciate comfort where possible over sound quality. Thanks! |

The AKG K612 Pro can be had for RM560 now on Amazon, plus shipping and possible tax should bring you to around RM700 or so.Currently I'm using Steelseries Siberia V2 headset. It's the most sensible upgrade to a Siberia V2 I can think about. If your budget is stritcly RM500, the Sennheiser HD558 is another sensible upgrade. Only RM380 on Amazon now, including shipping should be no more than RM500. QUOTE(FLu_Shots @ Apr 21 2014, 01:06 PM) Can any help recommend me a gaming headphone please? The audio gd precision 2.You probably recognize the carpet if you ever go to her audition hall Highly recommended seller, cheap price and first class service. Unlike some other seller that sell at malaysia's inflated price and rude (ingame and irl) *cough cough* |

I'll give you a spoiler, it's like the first time you had... you-know-what. Now in all seriousness, the HD800 are sounstage monsters. Put this on with a properly mixed FPS and then with a little bit of practise, I guarantee you that you will be in the top of the leaderboard most of the time. Otherwise for immersiveness, I bloody love the HD800 for what it is capable with (TH-900 takes the cake on the best presentation of bass in headphones I've ever heard). Now just don't get stucked up in buying $200 custom cables to replace the ones on the HD800, that'd just be a waste of money. |
