QUOTE(SSJBen @ Feb 19 2014, 11:59 PM) Uhh... all in, $130 + shipping + tax not even the price of the A50 being sold in Malaysia yet. So if one is going to go for the A50, might as well go for the Plyr1 no? Just read the reviews from Amazon's customer, just one major issue which is the chat volume problem. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Feb 20 2014, 04:33 AM) Based from the customer review in Amazon, the earcup is kinda small so you might wanna put this as one of your concern if you have a pair of big ears. |

Bro SSJBen, have u tried beyerdyamic custom pro one before? heard that it is a brilliant headphone for gaming and for audiophile too due to ability to tweak around. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Feb 20 2014, 04:33 AM) Not bad, if you have a small to medium sized head. A larger head will have issues with the clamping pressure, which doesn't seem to ease off even after 20 hours of usage. For me personally, the Plyr1 was rather comfortable. QUOTE(lint3s @ Feb 20 2014, 08:45 AM) Just read the reviews from Amazon's customer, just one major issue which is the chat volume problem. Yeah, many complained about the mic. I personally didn't have any issue with IIRC.Based from the customer review in Amazon, the earcup is kinda small so you might wanna put this as one of your concern if you have a pair of big ears. The earcups... I do agree, they're on a small side in comparison to other circumaural headsets/heaphones. So yeah, those who has larger ears, do take note. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Feb 20 2014, 01:38 PM) Bro SSJBen, have u tried beyerdyamic custom pro one before? heard that it is a brilliant headphone for gaming and for audiophile too due to ability to tweak around. Not yet. I do want to try it though, from what I heard it's a much more controlled version of the DT770 with a tamer treble and better timbre. But yeah I've heard lots of good things about it.QUOTE(Lord_darkslide @ Feb 20 2014, 01:55 PM) Yes they do.Many items sold and shipped by Amazon (check the product description) can be shipped to Malaysia. Third-parties who sells through Amazon, you'll have to contact the seller to set special delivery arrangements. |

I used to swear by gaming brand for my gaming setup, but.. i see that for audio, there are a lot more better manufacturer than the usual gaming brand. i have short list a few headset to look for which is 1. bayerdynamic custom pro one - RM719 (lazada) 2. audio technica ATH-900x - RM730 (lazada) 3. sennheiser HD 558 - RM719 (lazada) from 1k budget, i can got for about 700-800. saving nearly 200 for new up coming game release. scouting at garage sale... for better deal.. and trusted seller. thanks guys. edit: made up my mind. Bayerdynamic Custom Pro One it is. because: 1. removeable cable (i hate long messy cable, so can custom a cable around 2-3 feet according to my liking) 2. customisable means spare parts. in case i broke the hinges or damage the earpad. i can get a new one. thanks This post has been edited by Lord_darkslide: Feb 21 2014, 12:39 PM |

Hmmm... won't say that's a bad price. RM720 is cheaper than buying from Amazon.Once again, never heard the C1P. But I think immersion wise, should be on par with the DT770. QUOTE(loong4455 @ Feb 26 2014, 06:32 PM) guys what do you recomended platronics gamecom 780 or plantronics rig or any other suggestion my budget is 400 Plantronix 780? I owned it before and wore it for 16 hours, let just say the plastic quality degrades tremendously after 16 hours usage and the virtual surround are a total BS.But it's not totally that bad, IMO the mic is "okay", sound quality on games are also "okay", but the clamping pressure is a total NO for me. |
