Hi guys,

I was just wondering what should i get with a budget of rm500 max..

At first I was thinking about the megalodon but it seems abit too much to spend just on headset..

Then I thought about getting the CARCHARIAS PRO with a soundcard.. I'd like somethign comfy for long hours but also excellent balance between sound for GAMES and MUSIC/MOVIES...

I don't know which soundcard to get either.. Sorry for rushing and being a noob but I would appreciate any feedback/ recommendation for soundcard+headset combo for the budget above.. THanks!!!!

the price of AD700 should not exceed RM350++, if not it's counted as expensive.

where did u get that price for AD700??

A500 oso around 400+...and thats not from distro... from distro even worse the price....

eerr..may I ask where you test dt880 and dt990?

mind sharing the add?

oh yeah....forgot to mention....dont bother getting the DT770 or DT880 or DT990 if u dont have a proper amp to drive them...they need a good amp to reach their full potential...

oh and onboard soundcard is also a nono....

har?? ur gonna pair a creative card with those headphones ah?? aiyoyoyo... get a decent USB DAC or something la.. or mebbe even the audiotrak cards. check Jaben and see wat they have...

creative cards sux for music ler... implementation aint that good..and with such "revealing" headphones, ur gonna heard all the crappiness even more.

theres a Fubar II USB DAC for sale HERE...me using it now and loving it....moving from A2ZS to Fubar II was heavenly

u guys should also check the manufaktur version of the 3 headphones on the website...can customize how u want....last time i tried customizing DT990...total cost came up to RM2k+ without delivery but sexy as hell
for gaming, ive been drooling at the DT770PRO/80 for the past few years.... but also requires an amp...supposed to be the best headphones for gaming according to head-fiers....super wide soundstage and accurate positioning and well as heavy bass for the explosions...

unfortunately...its EOL

Fubar II is not an amp..... its a USB DAC... aka a USB soundcard but much better and without any amplification at all....so ur gonna need the crossroads to use it.

G35 is not bad also whatt, if you have the money.

how much is the go vibe?? and which one? DAC+Amp? or just DAC or just Amp?

and i dont think that the govibes amp is enough to push the DT880...not sure about the newer ones though.

and go vibe tends to be expensive if i remember correctly...not sure about their DAC though...

the home thethre is already certified dolby plus etc etc etc 5.1 crazy blast my freakin ears out of the balcony already.....unless u living in a non terrace house far apart ull be killing ur neighbours ears as well

Using Sennheiser HD 595 =D Sister bought for me from Europe xD cheaper then here RM 400

Well i play MW2 with my ATH AD700. It is much brighter than HD 595.
I can heard foot step while playing MW2 using ATH AD 700.
HD 595 is all well balance, Bass, sound quality, evertyhing is all hi end. but 1 thing it is just abit lack of bass ,slightly abit to perfect bass.

Overall, HD595 still the best.
But for gaming like MW2 ATH-AD 700 is very good. it is for gaming, VERY COMFORTABLE, not suitable for Ah beng/Techno song lack of bass kick.

ATH-AD700 u can get it RM 400+

AD700 colour fugley. DT880 equally fugley.

I like AD500 colour. But AD500
dt770, dt880 and dt900 design and colour fugley.

but this seems interesting. Bose A20 aviation headset.

Orca cups + Siberia top + Megalodon control + Kave removable mic + Audophile sound quality + AD500 colour.
