the number is still unusable! damn! i've been calling since yesterday before reading it here... zzz!!! definitely a mcmc + paper case if they can't resolve my issue. terminated my plan yet charging me!!

U Mobile call centre is really. Have been trying to reach them since 4pm yesterday. I made around 7 calls to them, some waited 10 mins, then gave up. The longest I waited was yesterday at around 8pm, I waited for 1 hour, still no one picks up. I just ported over from Digi and already regretting my decision. Supposedly successfully ported over but I can't receive or make calls! Ish... vmad.gif

But guys, midnight calling is just fast...in 30 sec, umobile answer my call already...try to do that in case is very important....

Ya Umobile CUst Service .... (shake head)
bought a Umobile prepaid from 7-11and been ask to wait 24 hr to get activate. But after 24hr still haven't activate, call the center to check. 1st call, keep listen waiting music , ended and make another call again.
Ask CS to activate my prepaid, they say need to wait, and the card was bought on sunday. (So sunday no buddy work to activate? Man, everything done by system la, you just need to verify details), and been told if after 7days still not activated , just call them back.
(WTF, what prepaid for, need wait that long, other telco can use in same day la.. why require me to wait.. and up to 7days to wait !!!!)
So more the CS keep silence & try to ignore me...waste my call $$$$
#%#*^ .. hang up n use mr google. and found that we can activate thru *118#.. spend 5minutes and get activated. ... what the heck with this CS...
The coverage and signal are quite OK coz using celcom 2G. Just the CS make me (shake head)!!!

u mean, inside the starter pack doesn't have the instruction to activate the new prepaid sim card?
did u check?

anyway, so far my experience on Umobile is great cos its cheap..but I cant say the best...
once a month, i do get problem access data network.. had to reboot the phone... tested on 2 diff phone, same problem.. i guess line pening when switching between Celcom n U network...
had some issue with reload pin once, and they manage to solve it on the same call...
and i waited for less than a minute before Calldesk answered my call... it was 7pm weekdays...

yup. dunno why their primary line is celcom. keep roaming on celcom and the data line stuck at edge only.
need to manual choose the network.

hmm.. actually, most of the time i dont have issue with Umobile auto switching 3g/2g..
cos I set my phone to auto select network with data roaming...
unless i purposedly set my phone to accept only 2G signal, then it will always stays on Celcom 2G network la..
but thats when the issue come... once in a while after so long on 2G network, i kinda lost data signal..
even if i manually select the network... solution is to reboot phone, only then the auto data line works ....

Yeah..but Fast enuf for foursquare when on the run..and standby for watsapp..
For FB n web browsing , i normally do it on wifi at home..
Which is why i needed the cheapest to go online.. speed is second priority..
Plus, i spent most of my time in Klang Valley..

Wow, seems like they didn't care to upgrade their customer service since beginning till NOW.
Me having some issue n need to call CS, I thought I'm lucky to get to them speaking to me, but like most of you, after I ask a question, they'll asked me to wait 15~20min for an answer, while I just listening to the annoying/repeated music.
Come on, such a poor CS, please upgrade.

I am having some issues with my bill payment, in which my credit card bank confirmed the transaction but it is not reflected in U Mobile portal.

Called them N TIMES and they are giving excuse "under investigation", "pass to account department", etc. It has been a month since then.

My phone was kena barred 2 times. When I need to call their CS, I can like call them in a total of 2 hours a day and no one pick up my call. Barred on Friday, and I was keep calling and I only managed to call them at Sunday 11pm.

This is really the worst CS that I have ever deal with! No doubt, the WORST!

For those having unsolved problem or pending/dragging issue with U Mobile, kindly refer the the official MCMC complaint site, and file a complaint through MCMC.
I'd been dragged by their standard answer "under investigation", "pass to account department", "pass to relevant department" for 4 months, and ended up had to file a report with MCMC, and within 2 weeks time, my case settle.
WTH is them doing to us the precious customer...

Hi, is U Mobile still like all the condition above? especially their CS line? My boss ask me research find Company package and U Mobile seems reasonable. But if their CS sucks I dont dare to join them... somebody pls comment... thx

Maxis package expensive laar~ last time I also use maxis, they have many misc bills.. annoyed me.

Maxis Value Plus 50 need to add another RM48 for 1GB internet. = RM98 per mth(RM103.88 with 6% gov tax)

U mobile E58 include 2gb internet. (61.48 with 6%)

All I can say as a maxis corporate line user it's very good stable and fast. LTE I can get 30mbps.

The support also fast call 123 straight link to a call agent without automated voice.

The bill is confusing but if you learned to understand it's very easy
